You want us to all jog in place and time ourselves?

Depends. My stamina is kinda shit, but my workout routine focuses entirerly on strength gain. I can leg press 400 pounds now.

no I just jogged in place while waiting for my food to be done in the microwave and had to sit down for a breather after a remarkably short period of time and wanted to know if anyone else was similarly in a terrible state

I wouldn't say I'm fit but I know I can jog in place for a little while. My job requires me to be on my feet all day.

You might just not be breathing deeply enough.

I used to be in pretty good shape but I've really let myself go this past year. I'm working on getting better but it's slow going.
Like I used to be able to go on my elliptical for almost an hour without getting tired, but now I can only manage around 20 minutes

Although I am glad I'm not to the point where I'm overweight. I was once briefly like 10-ish years ago but that was due to some sort of medication

A question for you all: How out of shape are you?

I jogged in place for like 15 seconds and was out of breath I should probably do something about that after finals.

Being enlisted kinda forces me to be relatively fit.
"What are we doing today?" - "Long running." - "how... long?" - "Oh about 10 kilometres, and you have to do it under an hour" - "daisies."

Felt like just laying down on the track and spend the rest of the day there...

i consider the fact that i can run at full sprint for an astounding minute and a half or so a huge achievement. that's how out of shape i was. i actually am in pretty good shape like physique wise but i can't run for very long or my throat closes up. it's kinda weird like i don't get tired or anything and its not that my lungs hurt, it's the back of my daisies throat just burns and closes after a few minutes :T

on the flipside, i can walk for years and never get tired haha

fuck that, I can barely run 1k. I'm going to have to force myself to get into shape, though. It's fucking embarrassing going for a run and being that out of breath.

I don't know if this is a health issue but I find that I've been unable to hold emotions in as easy as I used to.

If things get to heavy I tend to burst into sobbings when I really wish to remain calm and secure.

I'd say that'd fall under mental health...

As far as anti-depressants go, I'd recommend Effexor/Venlafaxine (Not sure if I spelled either of those right but I'm half asleep so bleehhh)... it's what I take and it's verryyyy mild. Basically it fights off anxiety, calms you down and seems to fight off nightmares quite well~ (also, to Nacha, I was reading one of the old TMI threads - ALL FLIPPIN 1417 PAGES *dies*- and sleep paralysis was brought up? I suffer from that to... and the meds I take chase those away) ... ahhhhh scattery paragraph.

On the topic of being in shape... I'm 5' and 200-something lbs... rather overweight o^o

Also I got my blood drawn the other day and there's a bruise where I was pricked, and when I poke it, there's no pain... yet on my leg, where I ran into a wall while carrying a recycling bin so that the bin jammed into said leg... it's still sore when I put pressure on it... yet there's no bruise :psyduck:
