underwear is seen as more intimate. it's under your clothes, it's taught to us as something that's secret and sexy. whereas swimsuits are outer clothing and while they can be sexy, they don't have the same connotations.

The thing is, I did it subconsciously. This was after my pe class, and my teacher's one of those drill-seargeant types, so most of us were pretty sweaty after. I didnt really notice what I was doing until one of my friends pointed it out

haha yeah most of my underwear are BRIGHTASS colours because fuck boring haha. i think the plainest i have is one black bra. most of my swinsuits are less interesting than my underwear :P i don't know many girls who wear skin-toned undies either? we like it to be exciting under our clothes.

edit: yeah what bacon said. i'm not sure how much i agree with that idea though - it seems pretty stupid to me? it seems dumb to tell anyone they have to dress a certain way to not give dudes boners really imo. guys apparently think of themselves as raging sexfiends and how dare i show cleavage and make you look at me and become aroused

Also, underwear tends to actually be more... sensual looking? Like, a sexy bikini is like, a sold black two-piece, which is fairly simple. Where as sexy underwear tends to be see-through everywhere it can, and it's got like flowers and shit stitched in and things like that.

Also, girl-boxer-brief-panties are super hot so that might also be a thing, if you wear those.

My boxer shorts are so baggy that I HAVE to wear trousers lest the beast escape and claim another victim.

I guess it's a "she keeps this hidden because the good stuff is contained within" so some of us have varying levels of awe/respect when it comes to lady underwear. Swimsuits are less special because girls tend to flaunt in them? I dunno.

I wear boxers because they have that LOOSE FEELING without the feeling of also rubbing my dick against the inside of my jeans (ow) when I move.

i don't mean like boyshorts, i mean like literal little shorts that have legs to them that are fitted like panties and won't make horrible red bumps in the bend of my thighs ; ;

I think they do make the longer variety, more like men's boxer briefs.
Talking more about boyshorts though, although I have never heard that phrase so whatever~

They're mad comfortable, as long as you get a good fit.

I don't even own any jeans (save for 3 blapck ones) because it squishes my but cheeks together and causes inhuman amounts of sweat. Not cool.
It's why 90% of all pants I own are cargos; they feel durable like jeans, yet are lighter in weight (relatively speaking) and more comfortable.

I prefer wearing camo cargos (insult/laugh all you want) because if they rip or get stains then it becomes a part of the camouflage pattern and/or blends right in.


Also I like wearing them due to all the pocket options. (I always have a lot of stuff I must hold)

Yesss pockets. I have several shorts I wear all summer that have more pockets than anything else.

I do not wear shorts because of the shape of my legs, the amount of hair, and the fact that I like keeping them protected from the environment.

jsyk no one cares about leg hair. I used to be a bit embarased of my forest-like legs until I realized that no one gave a shit, and even if they did it doesn't really matter.

Not that I'm trying to randomly convince you to wear shorts, I just like to spread some positive self image thoughts from time to time

I thought my HAIRY LEGS were awful when the hair was just coming in some years ago. It looks all bad and wrong.

Now it's all there and it's like "Yup. Leg hair. See this man? He has leg hair. He isn't prepubescent*. Wooooo".
