My dad is allergic to beeeeeees.

One time, he was out mowing the grass and apparently stirred up a hornet nest. oh nooooo
He came SPRINTING back inside and mom was like EPI-STAB.

I'm not allergic to anything. Except maybe ibuprofen, but we're not even sure about that one.

I can roll around in poison ivy and be fine.

Orchard is full of all the poison oak forever. Run around barefoot and in shorts as a child, never get rash once. awwwww yeah.

I was always the kid who had to climb into the bushes and get the toys and stuff out after they would get thrown/kicked there on accident.

My dad and my brother are very allergic to poison everything, so I have to be careful. Even a little bit of the oil and they get RASH EVERYWHERE.

One of my coworkers managed to get poison ivy oil INTO the store (McDonalds) the other day. The next day, he and nearly everyone else who worked that shift had rashes on their arms, faces, etc. That's funny, though, because you're not supposed to touch any part of yourself and wash your hands often. Well now we know who doesn't.

Every time I get an injury I find it fascinating to watch it heal over the next few days.

Can you love someone and not know why? Is that normal?

Do not mistake infatuation for love.

Unconditional love is something different altogether.

Emotions and logic don't really float in the same boats. You could think you have every reason to dislike someone but still want to spend time with them.

I kinda really hate how every timei go to eat something/drink something i feel like im gonna vomit.

Once in the middle of winter I was taking out a bag of trash to the bin and decided to go barefeet because fuck putting shoes on, it's just a little bit snowy on the path. Turns out there was a small patch of ice and I slipped majestically. My booty was a little sore, but whatevs bro, I took that trash out like a boss. Came back in and yadda yadda yadda I was sitting on my bed and noticed a bit of blood, checked my foot and right on the side of that ankle bone on the outer side of my left foot, there was a like a valley of missing skin, about the size of an average finger nail. It wasn't so bad, cleaned it up, bandaids on it. But it was just weird having this indentation in my skin. It's filled back up now, but there's this like red mark scarring the area where it was.

I've had a slew of minor-to-slightly-bad injuries in my youth. Broke my collarbone when I was five or six, sliced my foot open by stepping on an old rake while running around barefoot when I was around the same age, slashed my elbow by landing on it into a gravel pathway after tripping on a rail when I was maybe eleven? I still have the scar from that one; it's faint but there. The most recent one I've had is when I cracked a rib after being stupid on my bike; the handlebars inverted and basically stabbed my ribcage. After that my body got tough or something because I've not had a major injury for a while.

Having said that, watch me get in a fatal car crash on the way home today.

I fell face first in a patch of bottle shards when I was little and only got a giant cut on my hand and a scratched knee.

Friend fell down while holding a beer bottle in his hand and the shards almost cut his wrist.

Worst injury I've had was when my brother stabbed me with a kitchen knife.

That's more dramatic that it actually was, he was maybe three when he got hold of a knife and got me on the hand with it when I was trying to make him to put it down. I remember a lot of blood but that was through the eyes of an injured eight year old so you know.

When I was a toddler I pulled on the cloth on a a table. Unfortunately the table had a pot of boiling water on it. Somehow I only ended up with a small scar on my arm.
I fell with my head on the corner of a table as a kid, which caused a gaping wound that required stitches.
And there's of course the scar on my face.
A shit ton of minor injuries as well, since I like doing dumb shit.

Apparently my brother-in-law's mother accidentally ran over him with her car when he was a toddler but he was not harmed?
