My nephew's abusive mother got social services to give him back to her. I can't believe how much I hate them.

My mom put her cat down.

I never got to say goodbye. She was old and a bit overweight and they think she had a stroke which is why they put her to sleep, But I loved that cat.

I've gotten through the entirety of the first season of Steven Universe and now I'm sad because I don't have any more episodes to watch :[

But the second season already started

On closer inspection it turns out there was another tab for season two on the site that I failed to notice! I am a goofball. I heard something about the show being on hiatus a bit ago so I just assumed they hadn't released a second season yet.

I am so tired of looking for something I will probably never find. You try reading philosophy, you try religion, you try listening to other people, but they're just like you, desperate and terrified of the yawning abyss, trying desperatly to validate their choices in life. There is no answer, there is no solution, just a pathetic, scrambling existance on a has-been planet orbiting an indifferent sun. Even if you meet someone that makes some momentarily good arguments, there will always come the point where you realize they are completely bug nuts crazy. You will spend the rest of your life searching for another parental figure to recapture the momentary illusion of safety you felt as a child, and you will never find it again.

Personally I find comfort in nihilism.Exactly. Therefore there's no point in looking for meaning/happiness, you just have to make your own and you can't be wrong.

I'm sorry to hear that Stranger. I could tell you what works for me, but it truly is something you have to find for yourself. I hope you find that thing eventually.
