I play as a female character when the male characters all look like Mr. Universe and their armor sets are BIG, BULKY, HRNGH MANLY pieces of metal. This can be negated by chainmail bikinis and the like though.

Actually, it seems like lots of straight men are sexually aroused by penises. For example, straight men are aroused by women with penises, or penises in straight porn. It's part of what they focus on, consciously or not. They don't find it attractive, but it's arousing to them.

It really depends on the game. In an Elder Scrolls game I never made a female character before, but I made a FemShep in Mass Effect and I like it.

True I suppose, it's just funny to watch these guys argue that they're straight as an arrow yet fap to girly guys dressing up in thighhighs and skirts and flaunting their boners around



I pretty much exclusively play female characters if given the choice. I don't really know why, I suppose it's just fun to play as a strong woman who don't need no man and can kick booty

I have no issues with playing as either male, female or 'other' characters.

Sometimes I even identify more with female characters than males.

I choose based on roleplay. I prefer to play male characters because I can craft a description and personality for them better. I would make a female RP character but I'm always afraid I'm going to do something stereotypical or radically out of the norm and make everyone hate me because you're a sexist pig for doing that.
