My sister uses lots of purses and stores her phone and such in them because her pants don't have any pockets in them. I've yet to get an answer as to why the hell she uses pants that don't have any damn pockets in them.

My sister's pants have things that look like pockets from the outside, but aren't actually pockets.

Why do this?

Why make these things?

i'm guessing it's similar with some fake pockets

they manufacture the pockets that way so that when you buy the shirt or pair of pants then you undo the pockets with like, a seam ripper. they make "fake pockets" so that people don't stick stuff in the pockets

From what I've seen most girlpants are too tight to put anything in the pockets anyway.

talking about scents a few pages ago, I don't get what the big deal is. I like a nice spray/perfume on someone. I'm not a huge fan of AXE or amber-scented musk, but there are a few I cycle through now and again, like vanillatini which is the one I'm using now

also my skirts fit again because i lost weight over the year \o/

Now dresses and skirts with pockets, those are where its at. I need to get some of those.

Asphyxiation kink.

This is another hold over from bespoke tailoring unfortunately. When a suit was sitting on a mannequin in a window, they'd sew up the pockets with a small bit of stitching so that they sat still, essentially. Lines and creases and what have you made people think "oh well that can't really be bespoke", because they're kind of tools. Blame the nouveau riche. When you took it home you just pulled the thread lightly and bam, pocket time. It bled out into everything else by trying to look fancy, and now you just have full on fake pockets instead.

I hate fake/tiny pockets. This is why I was excited the new blazer I bought had actual pockets. Well sized too.

I'm always amazed when my partner can fit a whole ps3 game in his pockets.
