Darkin could have lied to get us to kill a Crew member.
However, if he didn't say anytihng we might have lynched Noff anyway. And the chance to kill a crew member from a random kill without leads would be high too.
In other words Darkin wouldn't have had a sufficient reason to flatout say "Noff is mutineer" if Noff wasn't.

So lynch Noff.

It's so overt, it's covert.

In actuality, you do have more logic supporting you than IO. If the mafia were to betray their own to get another to seem a lot more innocent, why choose a useful power role over a non-power role, especially day 1? I don't see any benefit except for being seen as more innocent, but at what cost?

The main issue with IO's logic is the first mafia death being the Fair Lass, an important power role, as opposed to one of the five vanilla Mutineers. I cannot believe that if this were a mafia ruse they would choose a power role over a vanilla. Darkin's accusation of Noff seems more like he was trying to secure a Crew death for today.

I have to side with Noff and ShadowGuy for this one. It's just really a bizarre thing to think that the mafia would sacrifice their role-blocker when they have five non-action members still in the game.

Of course I'm also remembering what Darkin said before he died about Noff 'not paying attention to the mafia chats'. This could be interpreted as two things, the way I see it: One, Noff really is a mutineer who made a mistake over which mafia member he framed, which seems kind of hard to believe because if another mafia member noticed it, they could have corrected his mistake. They have more routes of communication open compared to town, because they know who each other is.
Two, Darkin is trying to net suspicion against Noff by linking him with the mafia chats. It would make sense--a mafia who's cornered and about to die lashes out at the person rallying against them and acts like a betrayed, indignant colleague. And it's working, since some people are already voting to lynch Noff.

I think he just got really lucky. If he turns out to be mafia then I guess I walked right into their trap, but it seems like a safer shot to go for the people trying to pin him down. Maybe they want revenge for getting the Fair Lass lynched.

So lynch Idiotic Oracle

I won't believe a word of what Darkin says, he's a bloody muti. All testimony provided by them is full of lies and thus invalid, and will not be accepted into the court records. The "Noff is innocent" bandwagon is saying IO, so make Idiotic Oracle walk the plank.

quick question: noff, isn't it true that the drunken pirate did exactly as I suggested and gave you rum last night?

The only way to know for sure if Noff is mafia is lynching him.
That should be our top priority right now instead of trying to kill someone who you think doesn't have a solid enough argument.

Darkin was very complacent with people voting against him. Almost as if he didn't care or already knew this would happen. I still think it's a ruse of some sorts.

Before Darkin just broke and admitted he was a mutineer the votes were as follows:

Current Votes
Noffletoff - Darkin
Guyperson - Darkin
electronic goat - Darkin
Kamak - Darkin
ShadowGuy - D-vid, then Nobody
Cubosity - Darkin, then Undecided, then Nobody
FatOldRobot - Nobody, then Darkin, then Nobody
Crisp - Nobody
saximaphone - Noffletoff, then Nobody
Zorinth - Darkin
Bacon - Darkin
Cori - Nobody
D-vid - Darkin, then Nobody, then Darkin
Kubein - Darkin
TurboPunz - Nobody
AngelicSongX - Darkin
Darkin - Darkin

He even voted for himself. As if he wanted to die. A power role. I'd say they wanted this to happen and started the Bandwaggon, or came up with that idea on the spot after Noff got a lucky guess.

I highly doubt that any mafia member would oust one of their own as a result of miscommunication. It's a good way to guarantee your team loses.

I'm going to have to go along with ShadowGuy and Cori and keelhaul Oracle. D-vid is also giving me mutineer vibes, though that can be saved for a later date.

I just don't think Darkin would have been so indifferent to getting lynch votes if he didn't expect it to happen. And by the time he snapped he was still a good way away from getting lynched too, pretty much making sure he would die when before it could have still gone either way.

Now that I think about it, him saying Noff is mutineer really might have been a ruse. But why would they sacrifice a mutineer to frame a crew member who they don't even know what role he is?

okay so ill probably get offed tonight for this but its better than being lynched and having the town waste a good lynch

the reason i know the drunken pirate took my advice is because i am the drunken pirate

night 1 i sent a rum to need_runes(idk why i just picked him random)
night 2 i sent a rum to noff, as i said the drunken pirate should

runes could probably confirm/deny my story but i know what i did and i know im not a mutineer

besides i be such a loveable drunk, t'would be a right shame to keelhaul such a fun lil lass

There shouldn't be any doubt about that. If you really did give Runes the booze, then he should know it for certain, unless you are insisting he is also a mutineer.
As for you, I'm really not sure. No one should be buying Darkin's story unless they are a mutineer, but I guess you could have just taken it as a lead anyway? I'll wait until Need_____Runes4 either confirms or denies your story to cast my vote I guess.

I am on the verge of voting for Oracle, but I will wait for Runes to make a post.
