Making good progress on Hi Nu, got waist torso head and shoulders done. Waist head and shoulders still need top coating though.

Then I gotta make arms, and legs and all dem funnels.

And it's during making this kit that I realized I have no villain suits...

Should I? And watch, the day after I purchase this, MG Nightingale announced.

Painting takes so loooong.
Apply primer. Wait for it to dry. Apply colour. Wait for it to dry. Apply another layer of colour to make it stronger. Wait for it to dry.

Update:
My big can of anthracite grey is resin based instead of water based like my other colours. It looks SO MUCH BETTER, and it looks like I only need 1 layer of paint whereas I needed to do 2 with the water based colours.
Guess I'll get a bunch more of those for my MG kit that's on the way.

HUGE MEGA CRISIS AVERTED ON MY END.

So I was testing Hi Nu's current posability because I was being unproductive and I tried moving his hip and suddenly, SNAP. Hip Connector broke that allows a leg to be attached (POLYCAPS WITH A GRIP OF AN ANGRY VIKING) So I've been fucking around with super glue and I finally got it reattached securely after many faulty attempts to secure it again and now I know never to stress moving the hip-leg connector ever again

Be careful with your model kits boys and girls. They're not made of Nokias.

Bought a ton of model tools at the hobby shop. Would you believe I have been using a utility knife blade until now?

Stran, Taru, what do you do with parts that you need to paint all around? When I painted one side and let it dry, then turn it around and paint the other side, it tends to get stuck on the paper I use to put them on, and parts of the paint go off.

I use a styrofoam block and place little rods on it with small clothes pin on the top end. I then takes the part I need to paint, Use a thing piece of tape or something similar to get it attacked on the foam block and that's how I got my paintings done for parts like that.

Another thing you would do is take wire and bend it in a way so that the piece can remain propped up so that way all important angles can be covered when you do spraying.
