Think it's more or less the norm for people to prefer tanned skin. The reason is probably biological as usual, maybe someone has linked tanned skin with fertility, like everything else people find attractive

Tanned skin looks healthy, pale looks unhealthy. That's the biological reason.

That said, I find pale people more attractive than tanned people.

Back in the old days, pale skin was seen as more attractive because it showed the person was rich enough not to have to go outside and work in the sun, they hired people to do that for them.

I like tanned skin just like most people. When it comes to hentai, I tend to search the boorus for 'dark skin' too, meaning characters with the facial features of white people, but dark skin... which is interesting, because I don't really care for black women.
On goth chicks though, pale skin can be great.

In reality tanned skin means somebody has probably spent a lot of time in the sun and may well be at risk of developing skin cancer.

Tan your skin too much and you end up with a progressively more leathery face as you age - smoking does the same.

Excessive exposure to the sun is just bad news.


Related to the fetish drivel: I don't know why lactation is considered a fetish because that's what breasts/udders/whatever are supposed to do - though if you consider it in the same context as urinating and defecating I guess I can understand the objection - though milk also isn't a biological waste product so I would question people's abhorrence to lactation on those grounds.

...ok i just like suntanned people, ahaha. But I know what you mean Dnd, if I ever go to the beach in Spain I'm sure the older people (who are like in their 60's) look much more... leathery/wrinkly than British counterparts because they've spent their whole life in the sun. But hey, sometimes I'd prefer that to the occasional British summer we receive here.

but yeah i pretty much like skinny-ish people (not stick thin, just slim) or slightly muscular, but that always changes because some people suit being stocky or very muscular or chubby etc

I don't get the thing for tanned skin, but I generally don't dig the limited palette of human skin colours anyway.
