I've never really had trouble pooping in public.

I remember in High School it was nice to get to the toilets early in the morning before anyone had used them, and they were usually clean from the cleaning the day before.

Fast food places have crappy toilets, though. Half of them are all etched up, and uncomfortable to sit on.

I went almost a month without pooping when we visited my cousin :U
Needless to say I filled the toilet when I got home.

Leave your friend alone unless he actually asks for help. Sometimes people just need space after something like that happens, and it's not really the end of the world. He'll be alright soon enough. If he opens up to you or someone else eventually then there ya go, but if he doesn't then it can feel stifling to have people always telling you "You can talk to me man what's on your mind I'm here for you bro" all the time (Not saying that's a thing you're doing but you get the idea)
