I mean seriously, you're never gonna need that.
You probably won't get something better for significantly less cheddar (but building it yourself is always cheaper), but you'll get something that will still do everything you want for WAAAAY less.

well okay, but I think I'll need a good bit of memory if I decide to have a lot of games on it, wont I? or Ram if I want to livestream stuff or download something while I'm playing?

I'd love a link to a computer that is monster enough to do the kinda gaming I wanna do: no lag, high quality, ect

RAM doesn't handle downloads, that's all in the Hard Drive's read/write speed and your internet connection. Livestream might require ever so slightly more RAM than just playing games, but if you'll recall, I tested my system with livestreaming and it went fine during blur, probably the most intense game I own.
Remember, Livestreaming plugs right into directX/openGL, so it has very little effect on performance.

And if you want to store a lot of stuff, that computer's hard drive is no where near exclusive to it. Just pick up a 1TB drive from anywhere.

And, again, even the bare-minimum computer from the list of parts I found for you will do the no lag/high quality thing.

okay I laughed at this

but don't videogames take up a lot of memory?

I've done a little digging and found something that looks impressive for a lot cheaper

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6883229266

someone said in the comments something about the motherboard and the power supply needing upgrade? I don't know if that person is crazy or not. Could someone kinda teach me how to tell if this stuff is good/bad?

also looking through the stuff on the computer You showed me Ycobb

I basically want a high tech, super fast, amazing computer.

as long as it fits that description I'm up to it.

From what I've been told, Newegg is the place to look.

Not necessarily. Some websites might have better deals on some parts. And Newegg is probably good in the United States, but shipping and handling in other countries is absurdly expensive. I shop in a place that offers free shipping for orders over $300.

okay I'm sorry to those people that were honestly trying to help but I simply don't trust myself or my parents enough to build a computer. I'd rather just find a good working computer that has all of that stuff in it

That computer will do everything fine, it's definitely more reasonable than the $1300 you were looking to spend.

You actually shouldn't worry about the mother board at all; an average user like you probably won't ever have cause to try to add more cards.

I guess you should go with that, since a lot of the components look really good, but you should check around to see if you can get individual components cheaper.
Also consider getting a cheaper case if you buy the parts separately, unless you plan to brag to everyone about flashing lights or something silly like that.

If you go with the pre-built one, though, it seems like you're still getting a good deal.
Much more reasonable than your previous choice.

The lights in computers aren't bulbs, they're diods. No Fire hazard whatsoever.

Leds? a fire hazard? You'd have better luck setting a fire with two damp sticks.

could someone enlighten me or give me a link to teach me how to tell if hardware is good or bad, because honestly at this point i'm at "oh look a high number that's good right"

ie. what's good, what's shit, what's the holy grail of computer hardware?

teach me the ways of the computer techy

To be honest I know next to nothing about this, but for CPU's, you should check it on Passmark.
http://www.passmark.com/

And for GeForce graphics cards, keep in myind that the hundreds-place denotes speed/power/whatever, while the thousands place denotes series. Series is only important when you're two or three series away. IE:
8800 > 9500 > 6800

Also with RAM, you should know which numbers are most important.
Number of Gigabytes > Type (DDR3 or DDR2) > Clock speed (for DDR3, usually 1333 or 1600)

But man I am so lost on this for anything else
