Reyo, I went with the vote for two reasons: 1) Kergan was genuinely suspicious to me, in that he was pushing for Cori as a "lead", as though there was something to go off of besides the Raven's random vote, plus I find the act of pushing for a lynch without voting to lynch to be rather scummy, and 2) nothing was happening and I figured a vote would bring some life back to the thread.

I also do trust Cori to a degree, as he voted for me in the captain election and I am town-sided, actions that seem rather counterproductive and unnecessary for a werewolf to do. If we're looking towards suspicious persons I'm sticking to my guns.

That's not very good criteria for being scummy, because then anyone who simply suggests a suspicion is scummy. I do it all the time. I did it to you just now. For one, he didn't even really "push" for us to lynch cori. Kergan suggested we look at Cori, but then didn't say anything else after that, nor did he even throw his vote down until now, when it was brought into question whether he was really voting for him to be lynched. Had he instead kept bringing it up, making sure every other comment in the thread was "Hey guys, we need to lynch Cori." then I'd agree with you, but he simply brought it up as a possibility and didn't say anything else on the matter because no one else kept rolling with it.

And second, you are correct that throwing a vote down brought life back to the thread, but you did so in a way that makes me want to suspect you of being scum. Right now your actions are slighhtly more suspicious than Kergan's.

You obviously have a good reason to want to trust Cori, but your reasons for gunning for Kergan are fairly weak. I realize that Kergan could very well be a warewolf, but given that we don't know who anyone is, aside from ourselves, it's just as, if not more, possible for him to be a townie. I'd much rather hold off any of my own votes until someone does something so overly suspicious that I can't help but notice them. I do agree that Kergan's simple suggestion to go along with the raven vote is a bit suspicious, but the fact that you were then eager to jump on it is a little hasty in my mind. Especially since the original reasons for the suspicion were actually weaker than I thought they were. Personally, I'd have just brought it up to him for him to defend, which would then have probably lead me to voting for him, or someone else depending on who else was under suspicion (like wasn't Ycobb in the same boat, srsly...)

It's just the hasty vote makes me want to suspect you as much as I wasp t to suspect kergan.

Sorry, the bit in the middle is wrong. Right now you two are the same with respect to suspiciousness. The issue is that both of your actions/motives are a little hard to pinpoint with respect to which is more suspicious.

Reyo, I'm not saying that anyone who suggests a person is scummy, I'm saying anyone that outright pushes a lynch but doesn't lynch looks scummy. There's a very big difference between "hmm I think we should take a closer look at Cori's posts and see if that's actually a good idea" and
, which I'll give some more context on, is Kergan's first reaction to Numberplay telling us whoever has the most votes is going to die.

I adressed that, though. I agree it's fairly scummy in how it's worded, but you have to notice that he mentioned it once, and then didn't mention it again until much much later, when we called him out on it. There have been mafia games where someone advocates for someone's lynch over, and over, and over again without ever voting to lynch them themselves. That's scummy behavior. Kergan mentioning it once and then never mentioning it again warrants more of it being called out, like "Why are you sosure we need to lynch this guy?". Had he said it over and over again, that would have warranted in I'm voting this guy because he seems really intent on voting that guy without actually voting himself."

The level in which you react to scum behavior tends to want to march the level of the said scum behavior. That way it doesn't look verly suspicious yourself...

Seeing as someone else has been killed last night. The villagers could tell it wasn't a coincidence. The smashed door couldn't have been done by an animal and the bites were bigger than those of regular wolves. The elder then said "Werewolves" in a hesitant and scared voice. That mythical beast was said to be the fusion of a human and a wolf. It maked sense with all the details of both scenes of murder. But the harsh reality was that no one has been spotted leaving or entering the village in the last days. The killer(s) is(are) in the village, among the citizens.

So then people started looking around them. Could their friends be the killer? It took some time but suspicion rose and people started blaming each other. The mayor then had the idea of casting votes to lynch the most suspicious.
