OOC: Saw the post regarding arriving at the tower, apparently didn't manage to mention how breaking into a tower of arcane study and mismanagement is probably a bad idea. I've been up to long to try to figure out how to respond at this point, might as well assume Semli just facepalms for a minute or two.

So long as you keep them to one side okay, but no sausages. They always manage to make their way under the cheese and on to my side.
Quepp, how do you expect a female gnome to be a neckbeard? But it's just crazy enough to work. I can't roll to see if you find info right now, but I'll just say in your last info check you discovered that part of their neckbeardedness is that they wear their bath robes as wizard robes. Funny that they never bathe yet have the accompanying robes.
Roll hit on your facepalm, otherwise.

Well that's easy. A misfire on experimental waifu magic of course! If that won't fly then maybe I'm sending a 'wizard-gram' for some dude I 'can't remember' because it's his birthday or something. And if it matters I rolled an 18 on my facepalm.

Bwahaha, ambiguous forum name strikes for the first time.

Since Ayalea has seen it fitting to smack me in the face for me I suppose that means I'm assisting her.

"It's not a bad idea, but are we sure if there even are any wizards inside of sub-human height?"

With the assist bonus from Semli, Ayalea manages to disguise herself. Her chest is disguised as fat manboobs. Now you just have to hope they don't suspect anything. You are in front of the tower.
Cade is able to move silently down the stairs perfectly, continuing down to the basement and not being noticed by the guard, apparently still distracted by Krom's shouting and watching the fire.
Btw, Otherwise and Quepp, I forgot to mention that you have a 50% miss chance on facepalming yourself due to concealment (you can't see your own face) in addition to atk/ac. Just keep it mind next time.

OOC: I can't believe I didn't see that. I actually facepalmed after re-reading that. Sorry bout socking you in the face btw.

IC: I proceed with the next step of the plan and attempt to infiltrate the tower. Let's see how well this goes.

You bang on the door in as neckbearded a way you can. The guard comes up to the door and says "whattya want".

IC: I proceed to lie through my teeth.
"I wanna get back at those jerks! They said if I smeared one of those mushrooms on those stumps out there on my face I'd get a wife! Well it didn't work and now I'm gonna go get back at 'Philbert' by screwing up his new potion and see how he likes it! So let me in!"

"It's your own daisies fault for falling for it! But whatever, just don't go out in public again, we don't need more publicity." He opens the door, and you can make your way in.
Cade, you are already downstairs on the next floor. This room is slightly bigger, actually roomy. This seems to be the botanical room. Small windows at the top of the room let light from above ground in. There are many potted plants that your meager 0 points in knowledge: nature can identify. They are mostly in bad shape, the bonsais are disproportioned, the lotuses/lotus/loti are drowning, the cacti are thirsty, and the blueberry bush has already been picked (those bastards!). There are some tiny figs on the bonsai trees, funny how the tree grows big in some places yet the fruit still manages to be bonsai sized. There is a venus flytrap eating some flies in the room. I should mention at this point the scent. Not only is there fertilizer, but a giant rafflesia in the middle of the room. Where did they even get these plants? Not to mention the unidentifiable things in this room. And fungi of questionable origin. There are no deadly plants hanging from the ceiling... or so your spot check says.
Stairs to downstairs on the other side of the room. Quepp, hopefully you'll meet up with Scoot before he gets farther down.

I'll follow Quepp in, trying to make myself inconspicuous.

As the guard had gone back to watching the fire, he doesn't actually notice you go in with Quepp.
Quepp and OW, you make it to the same floor as Scoot, and reunite.

If no one has anything particularly meaningful to pass on I'll take a direction Scoot hasn't and start combing the place.

I'll take that to mean a search/spot check for you.
Your search check finds the figs growing on the bonsai tree, yet unpicked, and a notebook labeled "Plant Journal". It lists the names/conditions of all the plants/fungi in this room, even the mold on the wall. "Plant torture tests proceeding smoothly, soon cactus will talk all we want." Of note is the buzzkillgus, a variety of mushroom that grows sawblade-like caps and roams around. You see nothing matching this description in the room. Unless stated otherwise, you keep the journal.

I would actually like to try picking one of those bonsai figs.

OOC: Haha, ninja-ed by the DM.

You pick the figs successfully, because I don't know if they have thorns or anything like that. You put them in whatever you carry figs in.
