And whenever I or my mom make chicken and dumplings, it ends up looking exactly like yours.

My brother William, the brat, belongs to my dad and stepmom.
My brother Garret, the nice one, is my mom's and stepdad's.
They are three weeks apart.

And that is quite interesting about the appearance. Then again, there's only so many ways you can make chicken and dumplings.

So is this now some general picture-recipe thread or something? Because I might want to show how to make rice balls once I get something interesting to put in them.

I will love/worship you.

Not like it can be too hard or anything, I just never saw them being made.

I'm probably either going to put roast pork or cucumber in them. I live in Pennsylvania, so really good fresh (sometimes even frozen) fish is hard to find or expensive.

Also Citation, they're not that hard to make but it takes a little bit of time to cook the rice and let it cool down to a temperature to where you can handle the rice without killing your hands.

Pennsylvania high five. o/

Not like I live there anymore, but I did.

And all the good fish you can get in Kentucky comes from a freezer in a store.

You do NOT want fish someone caught in the pond in their backyard.

Cucumbers taste bleh, though.

Why would you ruin the bacon?

Okay, since i don't currently have anything suitable for rice ball fillings, I'll just make them without a filling. That will probably be easier anyway since this is my first time making them. I'll still use nori and i'll drizzle soy sauce on them when I'm done.

I've tried to make rice balls before with Jasmine rice, but it was an uber and epic fail. I got more rice on my hands than in a ball.
So I'd like to learn how to do it properly.
