It's old, but god damnit it hurts.

The story itself didn't make me cry.

But god daisies it reminded me of a kitten I had that got sick.

Stuff like that hits hard to me as someone who works in a shelter and wants to open one herself when I am able. The amount of "Ugly" cats we have is saddening....so much love waiting to be released but sadly they're in a plain brown tabby or worse, a black body.

We have a lady near us who takes care of like 30 cats with the help of an organization over here, we took in a red-haired cat (cant recall the breed name right now) to help her out a bit, but sadly that one died of feline aids. Right now we took in a black kitty despite our dogs disapproval. Now they're just kind of teasing each other all the time, doesn't seem like any real aggression between them

And before all of that we took care of a total of 9 kittens before finding them a place to stay. I think I should be able to find some pictures of those in my old e-mail actually.
