Shaggy kinda just gave up.

I'll be willing to do the next update though after we talk it through.

@Creeper: That's why I posted this - I've looked for him online and never seen him. Yet I've heard he's wanted to talk to me, but when I sign in and sit around or set my status to something like busy so I'll still get messages even when I'm gone, I still have no messages from him.

When we were talking about the update, it seemed as though Shaggy had told you the update was done, and when I asked why it wasn't posted, I thought you said you were going to ask him about it later. I still haven't seen him but I didn't hear anything from you, or really anything about the update until someone else was asking me about joining our group and they said "I talked to Shaggy and he said the update wasn't getting done." And no, it wasn't Angie, but I guess I know the other person wasn't just also misinformed about the update now and it is done in the way that the other two parts aren't getting made.

Anyone, including myself, doing the update is fine with me.

And I'm no longer sure that reviving this thread was a good idea. But perhaps everyone should do collaborations through PM's rather than on the thread, we might be able to keep the drama to a minimum that way.

That was nice. The music was very soothing.

There's so many people with well-developed backstories now I feel guilty for being mysterious.

That was really nice Oracle.

The character I have named Zink does not have much of a backstory. He lived a normal life... for a skeleton.

One of the other characters I control, though, has a backstory that is... much more interesting.

Crimson Phantom couldn't help but grin at the skeleton's antics.

"Hey Skelly, next time you try to act tough?"



"Try NOT being made of bones."

Don't worry you decapicated the officers off-screen by punching them in the face.

(Argggghhhhh I wish I had a tablet I could use because if I did this update would include an animated GIF but I don't)

Zink stumbled backwards from the blow. It hurt. A lot.

However, for some reason, the pain didn't bother him. Sure, it hurt, but it felt like... it felt like it didn't really matter. He didn't know why he felt like this... but he did.

Jellyfisherson glowed, but it did not only glowed. It blurred and deformed a small bit, for less than a second, like a T.V. with bad signal. As it did, Zink moved with a speed he did not know he had. The next thing he knew, he was behind the Crimson Phantom, spinning around winding up a blow with strength he did not even know was possible, and smashed the the mysterious Phantom in the back of the head with the staff.

He did not stop there, though. His blows continued, raining down like hail. He had never wanted to hurt another person so much before. He did not even know why he wanted to hurt this man so badly.

He no longer felt the need to make the intruders leave.

They had to be killed.

It was what the master wanted.

Iconsting stood up, now behind Zink, he witnessed the beating the Phantom suffered. "Oh no you don't you little mongrel!" He shouted, grabbing Jellyfisherson and chucking him against the wall. He took out his machete and hacked at the mind-controlling monstrosity.

"I. Am. Tired. Of. Your. Interference!" He grunted with every slash.

Then the leprechaun stepped in, shielding the Phantom from one of the skeleton's blows with his cane.

Now now Skinny, I think we've had too much violence for one clock tower.

He stated with a wide grin as he knocked the staff's tip away from the Phantom and drew the hidden blade in the cane, ready for any retaliation.

I've never fought a berserk skeleton before, should be interesting.

Jellyfisherson got slashed up. Very, very slashed up. It was not long before it fell to the ground.

In pieces.

However, it did not stay that way. It blurred again, and an orange aura surrounded it. It vanished for a moment, shorter than the time it takes for one to blink, and then returned, whole again, completely unharmed.

Meanwhile, Zink glanced at the small man who had blocked his blow.

He no longer felt the need to say anything. He felt the need to say nothing.

He, like the others, must die.

He spun around the staff so quickly it was nearly impossible to see. A few moments ago, he would have been surprised that he could move this fast, but this was no longer the case. He thrust the thinner end of the staff forward, towards the tiny man in front of him. It struck him right in the face, between the eyes. The tiny man went flying backwards.

Zink knew that he was outnumbered. Outmatched. Even with his newfound strength and speed, he knew that he would be overwhelmed once his opponents got serious about fighting.

But, for some reason, this did not bother him. In fact, he found himself welcoming his unavoidable demise.

Come on, he thought.

Come on.

Kill me if you can.
