So, no. It is not the same.

It's close enough. But you also forgot unethical.

I still dare anyone to try and argue that my picture at the top of the page is a human being. It simply isn't.

At what point does it magicaly become human?

We're not denying that it's not a human being.

But from some people's views, it's cells turning INTO a human being.
That's enough for some people, including me.

So anyway.

I hate the fact that by being white, I am automatically a racist. I didn't choose my race, and I sure as hell don't treat people based on their race.

Also, that only people in power can be racist. That is such bullshit.

Who the hell knows?

There's certainly a grey area.

Is this a human yet? Fuck, I don't know... I'd personally consider it a human because it's brain development had began.

However, just because there is a gray area, does not mean there isn't a point where you can very definitively say "This is a human. This is not a human"

If the egg does not attach to the Uterus, it is as if the woman had simply had an unfertilized menstruation. The egg does not develop. No child is created. Done.

So are sperm and eggs, but we still let them die all the time.

One egg means nothing, and tens of thousands of sperm mean nothing.

But mix one egg and one sperm together and suddenly it's meaningful?

Yes. Individually, the sex cells won't turn into something or mean too much.
But once they become one, it signifies life. Something that is turning into life.

Again, it comes down to how you view it.

I was called racist cause I disagreed with a black person, on many occasions. Of course, my family tree proves that my ancestors didn't even live in America during the times or slavery, and even then, I'm from fucking Ohio. I'm pretty Ohio wasn't a slave state. That always got on my nerves. People don't think before they speak. I've tried to explain, but it never gets through to anyone.

You say that like your ancestors having owned slaves makes you a racist by default.

There are definitely Ignorant and stupid Black People who do that to get their way, Dark.
Not all are like that, of course, but those who do that for a stupid reason that has nothing to do with racism are terrible for using such a serious thing in a bad way. Almost as bad as being a racist.

I personally never encountered a racial problem directly at me, because I don't look obviously African. But my father has and so has my older brother, since they do.
It's sad, because we once lived near the cape of Massachusetts. In the old elementary school we went to, my dad was shocked by what my brother said when he came home from school.
"I don't want to be black anymore, daddy".
This was because he was being hassled at the school for his color. He also had a teacher who was mean for who he was. This drove my dad to move out the family elsewhere and I'm glad he did.
So yeah, racism's bad. Bad for any culture.

I can see the logic in that, but the genetic or personal traits passed down. Its just the logic behind it that astounded me. Plus, y'know like I said my family wasn't even in the country at the time, so eh.

I don't know if I should even post in this thread because I haven't read all the previous pages, and people seemed to have already found their own groove to things.

Uhhmmmm according to my family, I'm a christian. But my family has never bothered to ask me how I actually feel on the subject.

I don't feel really strongly either way if there is or isn't a god or gods. I don't feel the presence of any sort of divine spirit in my life, and I actually find it a little disheartening when someone tells me I am not gifted in something I have practised for years, I am simply good at it because god(s) made me this way. Perhaps that makes me an athiest or an agnostic? I don't know. But I know I feel strongly in my beliefs that things like ghosts and spirits exist. But I feel strongly that I don't want the typical christian views of the afterlife to be reality either.

I live my life as though it is a unique experience every second of every single day, even if it doesn't seem like it. The idea of death does not scare me, because I am curious, and even if it's bad, hey, I got to enjoy a lot of good on my way there. I am not going to say "PSSH, DEATH ISN'T SCARY AT ALL" because I am afraid of pain and losing my loved ones. But the idea of the "great beyond" itself doesn't bother me.

While I love all the people in my life, personally, I wouldn't want to relive my life over and over and over again after I die, or simply sit and just spend the rest of my life with them or in my memories. I want there to be something more, or I want there to be nothing at all. I want death to be something important, and even if I do great things in life, they will lose their appeal if I live through them again and again.

Simply ceasing to exist doesn't bother me as much as it seems to bother others because I have been existing up to this point. Photos of me with my friends and family will not immediately disappear when I die. I will be there, for a time, and when I fade away completely, someone will be there to take my place. And I just hope they are pop flyin'.

I believe that single-celled organisms can evolve, and am open to the idea that a multi-celled organism can evolve as well. I like to think that maybe something started life a long time ago, but has let life takes it own course since then, so I guess I believe in a tiny bit of both creationism and evolution.

I don't think love can be stopped by anything, and gender is a small stepping stone in all the things that are involved in love.

But I am a prude, and I would say I hate the concept of casual sex. I think it's something special, but I really couldn't care if one person's definition of "special" is sex after marriage, while another's is any time. I just want people to be smart about their decisions, and then that brings me to my last little point.

I am not against abortion, but I don't know if you'd call me "pro-choice". I think it should be a very, very last ditch measure, and that BOTH partners are involved in the decision, not just the woman.

I really hate the term "feminism" because I think we're all equal anyways. Adding special terms and conditions just because I'm a female makes me feel like I'm being seperated from everyone else, even if things are put in place to make me more equal.

I have been called racist because I treat everyone regardless of skin colour the same. So if you're being an idiot, I'm going to call you an idiot. I'm not racist - you're just being an idiot in my eyes. :l

That's about it, I think.

I voted no on Prop 8.
I am pro-choice, but I think a pregnant woman should be heavily pressured to consider other options.
If there is something supernatural beyond this existence, I think it is far beyond human comprehension and is not worth thinking about until we're a part of it.
I find the idea of a heaven and a hell boring.

i believe in my own god, so call me a cult if u want.

my god pretty much is a normal person, hes fair but hes also not gonna let certain shit slide, he created everything with less time than a snap of a finger, not some 7 days crap. he can bodaciously erase you from existence as if you were never born, do pretty much anything.

cause u know, hes god. and from my pov a god doesnt get tired, doesnt need rest, and can do anything you can or cant imagine.

i had a baptism tho when i was around like 12 or so at a catholic church, even tho i dont attend any anymore.

i dont care what anyone else believes in, as in its your on prerogative to believe what you want, its your right. i DO care if you shove it on to other ppl.

i believe in abortion, even tho i dont think i could ever forgive myself if i got someone pregnant and they wanted an abortion. it is their right to do what they want but it wouldve been me who made them be pregnant in the first place and therefore i ended its life by giving it life.

death row i really think should be reconsidered. its way to expensive these days but thats because ppl make it that way. a bullet to the head from a firing squad (only one rifle is loaded, so no one knows who actually killed him and doesnt have to deal with the guilt of killing someone). cheap, efficient, and saves time.

sex b4 marriage, the right to bear arms, etc

The End.

Ignorance is bliss
and
Consciousness is overrated.

Man I wish I was like that. :/
