I always thought G Gundam was a pretty cool show. I just thought it was a pretty nifty idea, controlling a robot with your body movements, not with levers and dials.

LOOK, THE EAST IS BURNING RED!

Sorry.

Anyways, Toonami had Robotech, Robotech was my gateway drug into Mecha, which is the only anime genre I watch.

Also, Voltron (or Golion, the japaniese name) SUCKED SHIT in Super Robot War W. For a super, it took damage like wet tissue paper, and hit like a girl. SUPERS SHOULD NOT BE KILLABLE IN TWO FUCKING HITS daisies IT. YOU WERE COOL, WHY DID YOU START SUCKING AND MAKE MY WORSHIP FOR MAZINKAIZER AND SHIN GETTER ROBO INCREASE, LEAVING YOUR GREATNESS IN THE DARK?

Beast Wars and Reboot pretty much made up my morning cartoonage in the olden days. I don't think it was technically Toonami that early in the morning, but oh wells. I remember stopping everything, even coming in from outside to get our daily dose of DBZ, though. Then Toonami got stupid and there was a Tom 2 or something retarded like that. And eventually they took Beast Wars and Reboot off the morning roster, and a little while later they put Zoids on. I'm in love with Zoids. Giant mechs, awesome. Giant ANIMAL mechs, super-awesome. I just played a Zoids game yesterday. It was pretty cool. And that's my two cents.

Zoids was alright. Not as good as Beast Wars.

Oh definitely. Never meant to imply the contrary, my friend. Beast wars could possibly be the best computer animated show ever. Followed closely by Reboot and Starship Troopers, of course.

Which Zoids was that? I think I've seen three different series. The one with Bit and the Liger Zero, the one with Van and everybody, and then the one where Van and everyone is slightly older. It's been a while. The first one I saw was the first episode with Bit and the Liger, so that series will always stay near and dear to my heart. Cue the nostalgia.

I always wanted a Zoids mech. They used to have those ones that actually walked. They were so rad.

I had something like that when I was a wee lad. This was yeeeeeeeeears before I even knew Zoids existed. It probably wasn't even a real Zoids thing, but it was still cool as all hell. It was a model you put together and walked around and whatnot. But they were fragile. Never leave them unattended on the kitchen table.

I guess I am the only one who thought Zoids sucked? Toonami has been nothing but failure in my opinion.
