my dream was to find a dream, but that was a cheddar and time consuming failure

so now I'll just settle for working towards a career on which I can support myself and don't loathe

I'm probably still asking for too much

I dream that I could make everyone happy.
I want to take people's problems and solve them by snapping my fingers.

I think I might come off as a bit pessimistic there. I guess what I meant was that most people don't end up being anything in particular despite having it drilled into us that we will all do great things and have careers and be successful. Most people work jobs they don't feel too particular about then enjoy days off with family and friends. Most people have hobbies but those hobbies are separate from their jobs.
This is okay.
It is okay to not be awesome.

I don't have a dream in the sense you said anymore, I've become too apathetic and nihilistic. But I'd be pop flyin' if I can continue to hang out with my friends for as long as I live.
