That's how the old riddle goes. I'm surprised it took his friends that long to think of it.

Yeah. Seriously, we recorded the whole thing and it takes them well over an hour of solid sitting around guessing stupid things like "the Sims". None of them even thought to at at least roll some dice since the players themselves couldn't think of it. It's one of the best known riddles out there, too.

One 20 yen coin and one 10 yen coin. Assuming that you treat the exchange rate as exactly 1 yen = 1 cent and disregard that the 20 yen coin is currently demonetized.
