I've only heard of female weeaboos in depth.

I'd like this weeaboo to be male.

I envisioned a girl, a la the Metastuck personification of deviantart.

I assumed it was a girl with multiple personality disorder because you kept using plural pronouns

I'll be disappointed if s/he doesn't keep getting referred to as a plural entity.

I mean yeah it conveys the meaning and it's "accepted" but it just seems awkward?

Is this really considered a typically Japanese thing?

Japan does have vending machines with beer in them. I know because I used to be a weeaboo back when I was 15. ._.

My friends call me Nyan~cy-chan. I call them Gray'gray-senpai (Graham), Tar'tar-senpai (Tarquin) etc.

I think we're doing it ironically but I'm not actually sure. It just happened suddenly and everyone rolled with it.
