I only really go to school for choir class(es) and Comedy Sportz (Improv club after school). Other classes in general suck, but have their moments. I'm beginning to appreciate lunch and breaks more than ever.

And yeah. Choir is awesome. If you school has one, join it. >>

My high school had a choir but it was only offered one hour of the day and I could never fit it into my schedule. People always told me I should join it, but I don't think I'm really that good of a singer. *shrugs*

I feel I'm one of the youngest people in the forum, I'm just starting high school, just last week on Tuesday, and so far it's ok. I have to put up with everyone from last year though, and I have no friends (meaning people that talk to me on a daily basis, and that aren't assholes.) I'll manage though. :eng101:

I was in choir my freshmen year AKA years ago.

I was stuck in VARSITY choir. VARSITY SUCKS!!!
Half the people in there are jocks looking for an easy A. They all fail still. We couldn't even use the bathrooms in the choir portable because some of the jocks are so stupid they sexually harassed one of my friends. This friend of mine is a guy too. I never took choir again and I'm not going to.

School started for me two days ago now.

First day, somebody slipped... I don't even know what it was, but it was disgusting, into my backpack and I got to clean it out and off all my supplies. And then I had to get a new bag.

A new bag that barely fits all my supplies, and because of that is so heavy it cut into my neck and shoulder and made me bleed today.

MY BIOLOGY TEXTBOOK IS BIGGER THAN MY BINDER. :awesome:

My school has just implemented a caste system, and I most likely will be getting out of there soon since I alone have already been sorted, and into the lowest level of their new society.

I'm sick of my Geography teacher saying "Allright, Laydeeeeeehs..." when she wants to catch the attention of our class.

Just needed to get that off my chest.

I'm hijacking this thread in the name of anti-English class radicals.

Why does English class, after making you read countless horrid short stories, a few novels and one too many newspaper articles, teach students about suspense and irony, then turn around and teach how to recognize foreshadowing and make predictions?

I don't know about you people, but I'm happier off when the ending is a surprise.

Speaking of horrible short stories, what the fuck!? Aren't we supposed to learn about writing well? Also, I've decided to read only Chuck Palahniuk because, apparently, my English teacher considers them inappropriate. I'll be writing a report on Fight Club soon, and will then move on to Lullaby which I bought yesterday.
