Well it would be a stupid show if they repeated the experiment a hundred times. But science is not always entertaining, I suppose.

Except for astronomy. That shit's off the hook.

The Mythbusters are science, right?

The Mythbusters are not a reliable source of scientific research. Feel free to discuss subjects appearing on the show however, as they often do present interesting questions and try to make the general public interested in science(although they do romanticise the image a bit).

Edit: To clarify, a real reliable source of scientific research would be a university.

Most of the things they test are not meant to be 100% scientific anyway, they're more like a "It is possible that this can happen" rather than "This can happen, here's how probable it is, this is how many times it has happened"

Anything to do with displays of electricity. Tesla coils, plasma, arc welding, I love it all.

Oh, the day I learned to put room temperature soda cans in a bowl of water, ice, and salt to superchill them in two minutes was the happiest day of my life.

Now, define science, because that is a very broad term. I could talk about psychology.

Eh, my original thought was to have purely the exact sciences, but I guess it would be silly to try an make another thread for the other ones. So go for it!

It's funny that you should mention "exact" sciences.
