I used to.
Now my group has gone it's separate ways. Haven't done any adventuring since.
Though whenever I play Warhammer, I make a story based on whatever happened in the game.

When I was in middle school and my first two years of high school I RPed a lot on Gaia Online. I used to go to a really fun Zelda RP which lasted for years.
Eventually I got bored of just writing and moved on to Pchat boards for RPing. But those were hard to find so every once in a while I'll RP here with you guys.

I might be interested in doing a upstanding member of society RP with you guys... but if it heads the way of the disappoint my parents disappoint my parents I'll probably drop out very quickly.

Wait maybe we have different ideas of roleplaying

upstanding member of society roleplaying doesn't necessarily mean sex roleplaying :I

It's just typically a conversation but involving actions like nodding, though usually for me it involves cuddling

I don't know anything about RPing per se - like if the story goes off on romantic tangents every so often.

Is it just building story elements like... someone writes a monster encounter into the story, and then people take turns in writing how the characters fight and/or defeat the monster?


I really don't know.

I guess I don't roleplay in the definition that other people roleplay then

I have no idea about how any of this works or might work.

Are we talking about with the dice and the imagination and the fifty rulebooks and the taking several days and the DM/GM and the classes and the alignments and the leveling up and the rocks falling and the D&D and the spot checks and the...

or a different kind of roleplaying?

The Zelda RP I went to was a mix of both.

Constantly we would be adventuring and killing monsters and stuff.

But there were two characters that hated each other with a passion and as the story went on the two became best friends and eventually fall in love.

It never went past holding hands or a peck on the cheek though because the focus of the RP was adventure.

I was actually post master for one of the adventures.
I played two characters so that I could manage the story better.
One was young magician who went with the good guy group. I made him an avid reader and a very intelligent youth so that I could move the story along when the group became stuck.

The other person I played was the evil vampire, Rostes, who swore revenge on the Sheikah for vanishing him after being bitten. He kidnaps one of the Sheikah elders (who happens to be the dad of Mindalia, another user's character) and plans on destroying what little is left of the clan. Mindalia and her friends then go on a trip to find his island and rescue her father.

It was a very awesome RP. I could never make another story as interesting and filled with things to do as the Rostes plot.
