So the movies just happen to be sad even though nobody likes sad things?

If that were true there wouldn't be sad movies because nobody would watch or like them

That's not what I meant. I meant, people don't watch movies because they're sad. They watch them for the plot, or characters, or hell, an actor they like.

No.

I watch sad movies and stuff like that because they're sad. I like to feel things. It's hard for me to feel things without a good reason. Same reason I read Ari's bawwww albums on Facebook. Though reading both of them in one go is not healthy. At one point I lost the ability to continue for several minutes, I just like started sobbing.

But I'm not gonna join this thread I don't have a lot of bawwww stuff. I could steal some from said bawww albums but most of them are "relationshit" as she puts it.

I've only cried at like, two or three movies. The most songs do is make me a little teary, or give me goosebumps.

Uh...I am Legend, The Brave Little Toaster (as an adult, it didn't make me cry when I watched it a kid, don't ask) and I may or may not have cried at Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, even though I knew what was gonna happen because I read the books.

Oh, well I watched the Half-Blood Prince and nothing, so I guess I'm more of an insensitive bastard.

Movies don't usually make me cry or tear up unless its a really big battle scene, where many will die.

I kind of forget whether I cried at HBP or not. I also may or may not have been experiencing PMS at the time. But I definitely did cry at the other two, even though it would not be considered bawling.

I cry at the drop of the pin. It's really embarassing. I've cried at Because of Winn-Dixie, The Lion King, the end of Pokemon Mystery Dungeon 2, Guildmaster Wigglytuff's little side adventure in Explorers of Sky, Marley & Me (who hasn't?), and I even got a little sniffly in Bolt.

I think the closest I've been to crying lately was with Benjamin Button, but I don't remember where/when/why.

It actually makes me feel better.

Crying is therapeutic.

No, people started causing a metric fuckton of drama. That's why it was closed.

Crying is therapeutic, but one huge thing of depressing stuff isn't healthy.
