This. I'm fed up with Apple's shit. Every fucking iPod I've ever owned has lasted two years, then kaputt. It stops fucking working. I've had my GBA for at least twice that and it still works.

Sounds like you have bad luck with ipods then. I've owned two, one for 6 years and one for 2 and they have never busted or anything on me.

My Zune is the original model with updated software inside.

I've had it for four years, dropped it all over the place, and it actually works better now than it did then. >>

Also, unlike iPod, every accesory works with every Zune model.

Do you know how hard it is to find lanyard(sp) headphones for a nano these days?

My step mom had to sell her soul on ebay for a pair.

Zune's new accesorys works with the oldest models. The only thing that becomes outdated is the software, and you fix that with an update on the internet.

fucking apple.

And yet my DS fails in the workability factor. Something cracked the screen and now it's fucked.

I've had three iPods in 4 years. Most of my problems with them were that they weren't big enough (lousy, cheap 2GB iPod...) or had software glitches (funny how that cleared RIGHT up after I got a new one and gave the glitchy one to my sister).

If you don't know what you're doing, you shouldn't have taken it apart in the first place. That's like tempting fate, seriously.

@ all the Zune-users : Zune's are just as dodgy as iPods. My friends has one and it freezes up bodaciously every 20 minutes. She's gotten two new ones in the course of 18 months, and her newest one does the same thing.

I prefer iPods because I can easily get it repaired if it does break. I'm on my first iPod almost...4 years after buying it, I believe, and I have not had a problem that restarting it or re-syncing it hasn't fixed.

That being said, I'd much rather use my phone for music than my iPod.

My sister has a Zune, too. She wanted it because it has a big screen.

It cost like 250 in cheddar.

I'm pretty sure the DS Lite still is being manufactured with the stress flaw that causes the right hinge (the one the battery light is in) to crack under normal usage.

I've looked at a lot of people's DS's, almost everyone you can see a stress fracture or the plastic starting to deform from the pressure.

Makes me disappointed. I've had amazing faith in Nintendo to put out quality hardware that is very sturdy. And now they are pulling this crap with their DS Lites?

I have a Phillips GoGear, and it's totally screwed up.

The icons are switched around and scrambled, and half of my music has been turned into song hash.

I tried to fix it...
It didn't work. :c

So I'm saving up for a better quality player.

i blame your friend, because all my friends that have zunes are still using their original model, and it works perfectly.

Mine has never frozen.

Ehh, when my DS turns on I get a big black blotch in the bottom left corner of the screen and Link moves in a different direction from where I put my stylus (PH ftw [actually, I don't like it all that much]). I DON'T think that's a stress fracture. ._. (I think my sister stepped on it by accident but wont own up to it [I leant it to her for a few days {NEVER AGAIN!!!}]).

...wow that's a lot of parentheses!

And srsly, wtf is a Zune? Never heard of it.
