Thanks for posting the link to the sub Fi-chan, I didn't know the subs for it were available yet. I really like it so far.

I loved the end credit animation too, that was awesome.

Edit: Page get

Glad it's finally out on air, I've been following news about it for a while now. Loved the first anime and am currently collecting the mangas (although I currently only have 3 xP ). Gonna hold out for the Funimation dub, assuming there'll be one. Yeah, I'm not enough of an anime guy to feel I'll be getting any better an experience out of the untouched Japanese sub'd version tbh. Still, glad that you guys seem to think it's working pretty well so far, looking forward to it.

Most dubs are fairly low-quality and are rather painful to watch because nothing is more annoying than a character talking and their mouth not moving. But the original FMA anime had a very good dub, so maybe this one'll get lucky, too. I'm not the biggest fan of subtitles, either - they give me a headache for some reason, and also I can never really watch what's going on because I'm too busy with the words - but I'll give this one a shot when I feel up to it. As the only anime/manga thingy I actually like that doesn't have fond childhood memories attached to it, it deserves it.

I hope they get Vic Mignogna to voice Ed again.

Same here. Ed wouldn't be the same without Vic...I'll see if I can't email him from the Risembool Ranger website, telling him that he must voice Ed for the sake of all fangirls and boys around the globe.

This is pretty cool.
Also the first I've even heard of it, thanks for the linkage.

If Vic does, then he should use an older-sounding voice. His voice for Ed sounded a little young for the character...

He seemed pretty exited about the screening they did at supanova the other day when he was there, but then it might just be because he's a massive fan himself.

Might be a pretty safe bet though.

Edit: As for Brotherhood, I don't like it as much, it seems rushed story wise and much of the attempts at epic-ness seem rather out of place.

Gonna have to say I think the original anime was better, but then it's still early days yet.

Now that Aaron hit puberty, he can't really play Al anymore.

Yeah, that makes me sad. It's more sorrowful to the huge Al fans, but as long as Ed is in it, I will survive.
And if the new series really DOES follow the manga...OMG ANIMATED LIN/GREED/GREELIN. Whoa.

English dub makes this, and only this show, better.

Yes, no kidding. I finally got the stupid computer to work with the first Brotherhood episode, and man, was that awesome. Ed's short rants were so funny...ish. I'm...[that word].
