Hi! Don't know if I remember you. Problem I've been having because I'm still fairly new. Your avatar looks familiar though.

Anyway, Welcome back! I'm the awkward mormon girl that says awkward things. May the weasel god Passover your toes

Oh hey I was wondering what happened to you since your last-ish post was about being unable to browse the forum because you didn't want someone to stalk you.
I assumed they had finally caught you.

AND SORRY MY RETURN ISN'T AS FUNNY AS I WANTED IT TO BE. Oh well, life sucks like that. I was even going to post the thread in Japanese considering I'm going to be in Japan next month on a school program but I figured I'd get banned for spam or disappoint someone who knows Japanese better than me. Plus I'm not a weeb, I swear ;_;

You're going to be in Japan next month? That's so cool! I just finished two semesters of Japanese, so if you posted in Japanese, I wouldn't have been disappointed. (I also probably wouldn't have been able to read a lot of the kanji you say, but hey, it takes practice.)

Welcome back Kamak! AZ is turning into a beautiful rainbow, Katie and Norrin are engaged, I'm still with Noffletoff, there are less bots, and threads are locked because people are derps and discussions turn heated. There's also a lot less adventure and mafia threads than before, I've noticed. I can't remember exactly when, but I swear there was a time when there were at least 3 adventure/drawing threads going around.

I remember you. You might remember me as the guy that left because I didn't understand terminology of asexual people. I'm not as much of a dick now.

Yeah, sorry. At first it was because my phone was blocking me and I really didn't have time last fall to sit at any computer labs and catch up (plus I've had problems with that sort of thing before). I was kinda too busy to do much of anything that semester. I think about the time I got my laptop back I lurked but it got too late to post, and I found out my phone wasn't blocked.

After that I got busy and a bit too anxious, heh.

Things are looking up though. I'll be gone all of June to Japan for study abroad but I should be taking lots of photos over there. Might make a thread once I get back and destress.

Gonna buy all of the things over there.

You make it sound like there is a single square meter of Japan that doesn't have high speed internet access. Not saying you HAVE to upload pictures while you're there, but you know.

Clearly it had to be a gif worthy enough to greet back Kamak.

Actually, internet access is a bit... weird in Japan. It's not free wi-fi like we're used to here, rather, you pay for your internet service in your house, and whatever company you get service though that ALSO services shops and cafes and stuff in Japan you can connect to. It's the company's way of rewarding you for being a customer of their internet service, rather than a free service the store provides to incentivize customers. There's a kind of stigma in Japan about just taking things for free, so you also won't see outlets in public places to charge electronics and stuff like that. However, there's a lot of free samples and people who hand you stuff like little boxes of tissues out on the streets, but the difference is that the companies themselves are giving that service away as an olive branch to customers rather than customers taking something? It's hard to describe.

Also I'm going to be over there with just a Japanese cell phone and an iPad (not even a 3DS since parents are paranoid, ugh), so while I should be able to keep up with stuff, between classes and trips and overall experiences, I'm not sure how much time I'll have to devote to just posting pictures and stuff. Especially with the camera being on my cell phone and being a micro SD card for transferring.

I'll see though, it'll all be touch and go.

Take the 3ds anyways. Jesus that was my one regret from my trip with my cousin to Europe. Don't take it he said you'll lose it he said, then he was the one to lose shit. Serves him right.

Ehh, main reason in favor of not taking it is because it'd mostly be a waste. Everyone who's been in the program before says they never touched technology the entire time because time goes by fast enough and you're just engrossed, plus I don't want it distracting me in the case of stuff like school work anyways.

Main reason for me to take it (besides just doing simple streetpassing to complete my birthday calendar) would be the flights in and out because those are going to be long and boring, but I also don't really trust airports with stuff either.

It's not too big a deal, honestly, just feels strange that they're more worried about me taking a $200 console (or less if I took a DS Lite or my backup 3DS) but offerring a $400 iPad instead.
