Actually I hadn't thought of a PM. That's a great idea. What I can do is copy/paste the witchhunter log into a new google doc, scrub the names, and send that. Google doc is so that I don't have to deal with reformatting shit.


The way the vampire hunter's choices work is that if he is chosen to do the kill for the night, the person gets their role scrubbed. During the first night they also decide which person that their role scrubbing is going to work on for lynching. If that person is lynched their role is not revealed. EDIT: It can't be a witchhunter.

It seems to me that if they have to decide who it is the first night, it renders the ability as good as random. The GM may as well have an RNG spit out the target for them, the way it is. I don't think it would be an issue for balance if they could set a new target for the ability each night until it matches up, do you?

I think changing it every night is a bit overkill since sometimes lynches are pretty dang obvious.

Fair. What if they could only set it once, but didn't necessarily have to do it the first night? Or if once they set it, it has a two-day duration and then doesn't work at all?

How about they can set it once every two days?
Set on night one, in effect for day two and three, set on night three, in effect for day four and five.
It makes it less random but doesn't guarantee a hit either.

That sounds good. I agree it could be overpowered if it's too flexible, but if they're forced to choose on the first night then it's hardly even an ability they have.

If we don't get any more signups by the end of the day I'll remove the Arcane Librarian, and change The Ooze to doing what the Eavesdropping scroll does. If we get one more I'll just remove the regular powerless dudes.

And that's what ended up happening! There are some changes though, since we have no powerless people here.
The Shitty Wizard knows they are the shitty wizard. This is, unfortunately, unavoidable.
The Magician will show up as one of the roles of people who are still alive, or had their role scrubbed by the Vampire Hunter. This will be selected randomly.

DAY ONE:

The mayor was found floating in the lake. The mayor, for reference, was a being made entirely out of sugar, tissue paper, and powdered milk. While you use him to sweeten your morning coffee, you must elect a new one.

The mayor, in addition to their regular role, will sway votes in their favor in the event of a tie. Choose wisely.

Vote me mayor and I will be even sweeter upon death.

The fact that there was anything left of the mayor to be found means that he only just died a few minutes ago! QUICK, EVERYONE LOOK FOR THE CULPRIT.
