Canada starts with a "C", America starts with an "A".
Canada was conqoured by the bloodthirsty French (their anthem involves something along the line of drinking the blood of their enemies)
America was conquored by the genecidal Brittish (well, they DID almost entirely wipe out the Aboriginies, not to mention hunted them for sport)

P.S. To DoNotDelete, Vegemite is better than Marmite. :awesome:

Maple syrup, bacon, ketchup chips. I'm in the US though, so I'd say we don't have those wierdass luxuries you guys north of the border find commonplace.

Maybe it's just my town but most people buy milk in those 1 gallon plastic jug like things. Cartons are for soymilk. I dunno, where I live is wierd. Not wierder than a bag though...

We get 'em in boxes. Note the bilingualism, too.

That's okay then - we get boxes and bags also.

Are you big on recycling in Canada or America?

Yeh/Meh?

Also, I've never tried Vegemite.

Everyone recycles, seems like a pretty normal thing to do.

Unfortunately, I don't really believe in recycling. The methods we currently have to recycle certain materials is hardly efficient, usually poluting more than just dumping the trash in the garbage would.

Let's see here. Canadians (and most other countries associated with Britain) spell certain words differently, such as colour and favourite. Canada has an unemployment rate that's approximately twice as large as America's (not the number of people who're unemployed, but the percentage of people unemployed). Canadian cheddar isn't worth as much as American cheddar. America has around ten times as many people as Canada. When I used to live in Canada, my area had a school district that consisted of 13 separate grades, along with junior and senior Kindergarten (I'm not sure if that applies to other areas in Canada). In general, Canadians will say certain words, like plaza, using a hard a sound (cat), as opposed to using a softer a sound (saw).

Plus more things.

School system are VERY differen according to province, and even region.

As for your cat/saw comparison... that makes absolutely no sense to me. :\

What, never seen a milk jug before?

Also, there's one difference between America and Canada: Canadians love to beat the snot out of each other and other people, then call it Hockey and claim it's a sport. :awesome:

My elementary school used to have milk in a bag. I loved those, but they eventually got replaced by little cartons.

You see, there's a big difference. Personally, I think saying "plawza" makes you sound dumber (probably vice versa with Americans too).

ALSO - do you have 'Marmite' in Canada?

I've seen that a few times, yes. I have no idea what it is though, but for some reason, I want to try it. It looks so mysterious~ :V

Maybe it's just my side of the country, but almost every poutine I've had has been delicious. Generally the only problem I've ran into is if the restaurant has gross fries, no amount of gravy or cheese will make their poutine delicious.

I don't notice it, but people say I have a very Canadian accent. (Like Dark said, I accidentally say "aboot" sometimes.) I'm not sure what that entails beyond "eh" and "aboot", but it's there, or so says people.

In the town I grew up in, we were really big on it. In my current residence, we didn't get recycling bins until a few years ago. Most people keep their own pop cans and such to drop off for cash rather than let the workers take it away.

The only differences I can currently think of are the obvious ones like different school systems and such, and the fact that all their food is a lot bigger. Our medium is their small.

I never say plawza. Sounds retarded and awkward to me. :colbert:
