Whenever I play a full screen game that uses any keys near the Windows keys, (Yes I use windows, poor me) I remove the windows keys so I don't accidentally bring up the start menu in the middle of a war or something.

My brother melted one of our old keyboards.

I haven't done very much cpu mangling... but I set my brother's Xbox on fire once. Playing it for a long, loooooong time non-stop makes Xbox go boom.
