A good deal of my friends are graduating this year (or getting their matura, which is what we call the end of your secondary education 'round here), but I just had to pick a design-oriented school that runs 5 instead of the usual 4 years - but who gives a shit, I'll get my matura and a diploma which is pretty sweet. I might apply for the master's class after the regular 5 years, too, though. We'll see.

There's still a few days to go until all grades are set in stone, there's still an annoying math exam waiting for me (curses!) but once I'm done with that it's pretty much summer for me, too.

Graduating from what, exactly? Graduating from high school gives...what, exactly? "Living the real life"? You can't even get a decent job until you go through college or university, which is way worse than high school. And "moving out" comes with age, leaving high school away doesn't really give extra space for it.

Hurr hurr kids these days have no sense of perspective/foresight.

I actually started a 15 minute discussion (mostly just the teacher talking and students responding from time to time though) about this a few days ago.
And I'm not even sure if I'm older or younger than Katie. Who draws awesomely.

Most kids don't even really appreciate a lot of stuff in life imo. And I mean a daisies lot.

For example, a student today said that it was "the best day of her life" specifically because a teacher was absent because of an emergency. I mean, seriously? The teacher is a bitch, but that's besides the point.

I don't kill buzz, I buzz (in?) to kill.
Or maybe a little bit of both. I dunno, I'm some dude who browses gaming forums.

Am I emo? Hah, I've heard a lot of people say that.

To be honest, the thought of graduating high school terrifies me. Do you have any downer psychology (Philosophy would work too) for that?

Life is meaningless. Graduating high school is just another step in the long escalator of life that leads no where, similar to the Simpsons, where one'll just fall of the edge to their own oblivion, one day or another.

Haha, totally saw that coming. Though I suppose I should've mentioned that in my post. daisies my intuition telling me not to because "it would just make me more of an booty" or something. (I was thinking of "If you don't give a daisies, I don't give a daisies")
But now I might look more of an booty or just plain not be believed. Better slightly late than never, I guess.

If anybody's wondering (which I doubt, but fuck it), I sort of advocate "not settling for less/low/bad/crap" and "appreciating life", which I think many people (not just we young'uns) don't. And while graduating High School is an accomplishment, it, imo, isn't "that" much of an accomplishment since 99.9% of the students just consider it a "patience torture" more than anything, and if you're gratifying yourself for enduring that, you'll probably be worst off once you were out of high school and finally understand why most adults say that high school years were the "best years of their life" and how much they miss them.

Damnit I suck booty at pseudo-intentionally crappy jokes. (talking about the buzzkill crap)
Ah well, I'll shut up.

College > High School

High School was shit and a half, droll, and too confining. IN college you have your own daisies freedom.
