Isabelle sighs as she watches Joe (and possibly Lucky) leave the table.

"I don't think Joe realizes that since their plan fell through last night because of Nook and our guest intervening, that whatever scheme they're coming up with now is ripe for failure too."

"(To be honest, it kinda makes me uncomfortable how willingly Joe seems to accept playing this game)"

She gets up from the table.

"Anyone who wants to be a part of tonight's investigation, we'll meet in front of Re-Tail at midnight and make our way to the tent from there."

With that, she leaves.

Possibly. If we do another game though, I'm probably going to have someone else help with updates or let them do the majority of planning.

Rubbing his eyes, Punchy rests his hands on his head. He seems to be in deep thought.
"I'm sure Joe and Lucky are planning something, mrmpft... But I still don't know if I can trust Isabelle... And what's the deal with this 'visitor', anyway?" He mutters to himself.

He gets up from his spot. "I'm going home to mull this over for a while, mrmpht.", he announces, and walks home.

Just so everyone is clear, if you're investigating with Isabelle, you'll be using the thread to communicate. Also, night will last as long as it needs to for the investigation~

Isabelle waits patiently in the fog in front of Re-Tail. She got there a bit early just in case, and she seems a little jumpy.

Punchy peers out his window to try and see Re-Tail, but his vision is blocked by Bud's house, to his dismay.
Despite his tiredness, he stays up late trying to figure out what Joe and Lucky are up to.

Bud's house is no longer there. Though fog and trees would probably block your view of Re-Tail anyways.
