True enough; My snake is as lazy as they come.

All reptiles are pretty lazy. I have to check and make sure my turtle, Damsel, isn't dead all the time.

Also they don't have most of the thinkin parts of the brain, so it sorta makes sense.

Mostly why I don't want reptiles. I like 'em, but seriously show a little energy would ya?

I know reptiles' brains are far less developed than that of mammals but I'm pretty sure my snake thinks about things; I recently put a new hide in her vivarium and I think she was a little bit frightened of it at first. The size of the opening is much bigger than she's used to and atm she's very apprehensive about going into the hide; She looks at it like she's considering whether or not to risk going in because the size of the opening could indicate that it's home to a large animal that could be a threat to her.

She definitely stops to think about things sometimes - I can see her analysing her surroundings and making decisions.

Snakes aren't exactly the smartest animals, but they do have their survival instincts. Hence why they've been around for so long even without arms and legs.

Also if you want an active snake, get one of the smaller/thinner ones on the lower end of the food chain. Ball pythons are chill as fuck because they don't have a lot of natural predators, and thus have less to worry about. So snakes like woma pythons, which are not on the top of the food chain, tend to be more active.

Also bitey little fuckers. Mine kept trying to eat my dad because he thought he was food.

Just another thing on the condom topic: if I for some reason needed to buy some right now, the biggest thing in my way would be my fear of judgement for my age. Obviously, this would disappear as I get older (and probably after the first time doing it since I would get confidence), but I would think it's the most common reason for teens, at least.
