Shadman's friends with a lot of internet famous people from what I know. He does a lot of backgrounds for other animators, if you check his NG page you'd see.
I'm pretty sure Shadman's not American either, he's got a really thick accent but I haven't heard it in ages so I don't know where from. He draws a lot of really fucked up shit, and he's always done so from what I remember, so I dunno if he has to be commissioned to draw weird shit, that said he has gotten a lot better.

I searched Shadman.

I immediately regretted my decision, I could care less if he worked with other popular folks, stuff like this is outright disgusting in my eyes.

So how about that guy who put a rocket on a comet and proceeded to get attacked by press and social media for wearing a shirt?

Truly we are in the golden age of feminism. I heard that he was really upset when he gave an apology later. The guy clearly wasn't trying to offend anybody.

The more inane bs like this happens, the lower the credibility of modern feminism sinks. It's ridiculous that he had to issue an apology, these people aren't some special interest group whose feelings completely unrelated people need to account for.

The shirt was made for him by his female friend and this was supposed to be a big day for him and the media decided to turn that around and ruin it for him. "Vile" is the only word I know to describe it with.

Shit like that is why I have a problem with the extremist radical breed of 'social justice warrior' that tumblr cultivates.

The thing is, influential technology sites like The Verge made articles condeming him. It wasn't limited to fringy extremist tumblr blogs, it went mainstream and as such, was pushed as a mainstream opinion.

I didn't see people not offended by the shirt make a grown man cry.

I didn't say that people didn't overreact to it. All I'm saying is that I've seen way more of people saying that people shouldn't be so easily offended than I've seen people who were actually offended. Like, way more. A lot of times it seems like people just like feeling superior to the ones who actually felt offended and can't wait to tell everyone about how not thin-skinned they are.

There were multiple stories on the frontpage of major news outlets about it. If you've seen more stuff contra it, then congrats, you're visiting non-shitty websites. But the contra-stuff only appeared after the initial outcry that was in no way small. Because that's just how that works obviously.

Also, yeah, it's unprofessional. It's also just a tacky shirt. I mean, when I first heard about this, I expected it to be at least somewhat racy. But no. It's just tacky. I see more offensive stuff in my saturday morning cartoons. The people who are offended by that aren't thin-skinned. They are the type of small-minded, ignorant hypocritical pieces of shit that are the cause of the issues they claim to fight against.

I found out today that fictionkin is a thing. As in people who identify as fictional characters. I just.....what?

Our best bet at this point is to wait until modern feminism goes the way of PETA. Yes, they still exist, but no one really takes them seriously anymore, given all of the irrelevant controversies they swear exist (like changing the name of the town of "Fishkill"). Just let them complain about the fact that some dude's shirt is "Universally offensive". Eventually it'll get bad enough to where South Park makes an episode about them, and it'll be downhill for them from there.
