Porn is the key influence behind which data formats survive. Whichever one they throw their lot in with lives on.

Happened with VHS and Betamax, happened with HD-DVD and Blu-Ray, it'll happen again with the future formats.

No, Sony made the Bluray the definitive next gen data format with the PS3. Jack Tretton said so, so obviously it must be true.

And didn't the HD-DVD thing fall out because Warner Brothers or some other big influence company backed only Bluray so people shifted there for the "exclusive" content and that's why HD-DVD died? I don't think porn did much in this fight, especially with the internet being readily available for a (usually free) fix.
