one of my anxiety triggers is bothering people? and i feel like being like 'hey ...answer me' is bothering people so it takes a lot for me to do it /__\ i would have if he hadn't replied by monday afternoon but yeaaaah i really rather not

the good news is he did reply. the bad news is he's going to be coming to houston next weekend and can save me 8 hours of driving...............but i'm going to be out of town. so i guess i get to be sketchy and send a friend to pick them up for me sigh

But yeah I'm the same way about bugging people, especially if they're a boss/authority figure of some sort, I worry way too much about what people think of me so I don't want to come across as annoying. But I've found that just reminding people in a respectful way doesn't seem to bother people, especially if its been a long time and it's something important.

Of course, waiting it out is still always an option, lol.

EDIT: Re: things that annoy me, these pants need to be washed but laundry day is tomorrow and it's actually kinda cool out for once, so I don't want to wear shorts.

yeahh like i said this is something really important to me so i wouldn't have just let it go, but i definitely have a wall to break through in order to ping someone x: there's a lot of things i just drop though because it's not really worth the anxiety it causes me but i know sometimes i gotta put on the big boy pants and get it done.

at least it's just email. if i have to call anyone for any reason i immediately turn into a pile of tears and begging for death and usually make my husband do it for me (and bless him for being 100% willing)

but mostly now it's just. please let him agree to meet my friend so i can not drive 8 hours round trip to almost mexico and back

The forum rather frequently signs me out for no apparent reason, forcing me to re-enable the Automatic Sign-in button.

I get really annoyed when my dad tells me to calm down, I will fucking wind myself up about this shitty weather if I want to, because I am the one who has to suffer it when going fucking anywhere

There's some construction going on outside so I get to listen to the symphony of shirring machinery and constant, I mean CONSTANT truck-going-in-reverse-beeping. It gets worse when multiple trucks are going in reverse.

We had that today at work. One truck was going in reverse for most of the day, and for a part of the afternoon another one joined as a counterpoint.
Actually there's been a lot of noise at work since the middle of July I think. They're breaking down walls and hitting things with hammers and cutting cement and sawing things and using all sorts of noisy machinery. Some days it was almost unbearable.

All of my little cross stitches were tken down by my boss. my cube is all grey and sad now.

so Im buying packing tape and colouring in whales to hang up. Because If I cant mark on them and theyre plastic they cant say shit. I can stand looking at bare grey walls all day.

The DDoS'd sites I was trying to access seemed to have come back up while I was away, so I guess everything is fixed, now. Yay.
