I had asked egoat about it a day or two earlier - if your kill succeeded (the 50% chance) and you targeted your assigned killer (could only be Angie) then you'd both die. It's the wager I thought I was making when I tried to shoot Marcato.

It certainly was a risky game I was playing.

Well, when your reason for the hunch is "they're usually dead by now," then it's pretty reasonable to assume it's a stupid hunch.

The shot was never fired, as the mafia has a priority for murder (unless that gun is aimed at the designated killer, as mentioned earlier).

I still find it funny that Barabba was the last man standing. Also, the ending shoot off between Benson and I reminds me of this for some reason.
