Had an interview for an assistant manager position two weeks ago

Was told that they would call me "in a few days"

One week passes, no call

Decide to call them to make sure my phone wasn't being fucky(a very real possibility)

"Sorry, we're still going over the interviews, we'll call next week"

STILL NO CALL AUUUGH

If my headphones wire gets caught in the wheels of my chair one more time i'm gonna slap my wiener around til it does a full 1080

I have 3 days to be completely moved out of my current house. Yay. (I've known about it for a month, but I was busy with work until today.)

This guys account at work got totally fucked up when he disconnected his home phone and now It's taken me over an hour and calls to like 4 departments to fix it.

all because the system fucked upa nd assigned the guys account his old phone number that he wants to reconnect instead of a dummy number.

Plus I'm a grumpy fucking mess because my vagina decided that YESTERDAY HAD TO BE THE DAY OFTHE BLEED

Two and a hafl hours later I am still not done fixing this account. i was off a half hour ago.

I took two days off from work and I'm staying at my father's house and I'm feeling more and more distant from my parents. All they seem to care about is the state of their respective lawns. My mother is in the middle of a war of progressively less passive aggression with her neighbors about the leaves from their tree falling on her side of the fence and she explains the gravity of the situation to me and give me status updates every single time we meet like I should give a shit. My father's sole conversation is what part of the lawn he mowed today and how he's planning what parts of the lawn he'll mow two weeks from now and how he hopes it doesn't rain on Thursday because then he wouldn't be able to mow the lawn until Friday and that is simply unthinkable. There was a family of cats hanging around the garage minutes ago and I remarked on it and he said he saw them earlier and wants to find out whose they are so he can complain while feeling self-righteous because he doesn't want cats around his property because oh no, cats walking silently at night and not actually doing anything bad. What, do you think they're going to destroy your precious lawn? He lives in the country yet he's always offended when wildlife dares to exist. He thinks birds eating wild berries is a terrible waste (we could have picked them and put them in the freezer forever instead!) and gets rustled at squirrels being squirrels and Friday he was pop flyin' to have leftover boiling water so he could pour it on an ants nest. I always say I'm the one who doesn't have a life but I hope I never get to that point and I just want to go back to my apartment now. I'm also sad because I never really had the occasion to connect with them before I was an adult and now they're turning into curmudgeonly old people and it's too late.

40 minutes later, a call to corporate and a call back tot he customer there's a tier 3 support ticket made and I have to call this lady back tomorrow. ughhghghghghghg

Tbh I go long stretches without problems, and their customer service has markedly improved over the years. These days if I call a tech, hang up, and call them back, they'll actually reconnect me to the same person, which is nice.

I still feel like it could be a lot better, though. Don't have any sort of fiber connection where I'm at, sadly.

Also Sark is my favorite.

Computer is getting obnoxiously slow with all applications, internet, and even just basic OS stuff (like exiting the start screen when I accidentally switch over to it). I have a sneaking suspicion it might be due to deliberately bulky updates on Windows 8, trying to get me to switch over to 10.

I just took care of a similar problem, I found out the Windows Update service was hogging almost 2 whole gigs of RAM.

Jesus. Do you mean the application that manages updates, or a specific bundle of updates? Because I've already gone through and manually blocked/deleted the windows 10 update once, but I'd heard a rumor about them bundling it into a new update, and upgrading it to critical to bypass the people who had done this.
