AWKWARD ZOMBIE

Lucky heads over to the dream salon or whatever it's called because he can.

There are people who want to do night things that have been held up for over a week too. I already announced that the night was supposed to end last night, but I didn't get a chance to update then, so I did this now.

I'll be getting better about updates in the future (though sometimes I might just need to forgo images so I can do quick phone updates;;), but for now I'd rather not hold up people patiently waiting to do things at night.



"Mmm... Yes... It's been a long time since I've had a guest... Welcome to the Dream Salon."

"Where would you like to dream tonight?"

Joe hides under a piece of furniture in the hopes that the shopkeeper won't notice him.

"Hey cousin, don't do that. I don't necessarily want to carry out Ol' Tom Nook's Town Rules, but I will if I have to."

"Don't make me get the stick."

"No, you have to understand, I can't not get under this piece of furniture!"

What do you mean? Do you mean where in real life or in a dream or what?

"In the Dream Salon, you can dream of faraway places, as if you were actually there. What you do doesn't affect anything in the real world, but you can see things you otherwise would not be able to experience."

"The Mayor had this place constructed so that your villagers could explore the world within your dreams without actually leaving Hope Town."

"But for now, I think it is too late for me to start you on a dream to explore another town, but perhaps you would like to stay and rest until the morning here? Mr. Nook would not like it if you were out on Main Street tonight, yes?"

She leads you back to a comfy looking sofa to sleep on. Your eyelids DO feel a bit heavy.

Crazy Redd's Bedtime Story

"You know cousin, life is a lot of work, ya dig?"

"To get where I am today, I had to scrimp and save and cut many corners."

"And even now, I'm not in a very financially stable spot."

"In some ways, more than anything, you need a bit of Luck on your side."

"That's how people that are rich stay rich, while hard working folks like me are stuck in the turmoil."

"But it's not all bad, being financially unstable, I mean."

"I've gotten to visit many places that I'd otherwise wouldn't if my roots were allowed to set in."

"And I can appreciate what I have better, knowing I haven't just lucked into it."

"So in that sense, I think I truly am lucky, just not in the ways most people hope for luck."

"And I hope ya don't end up with more luck than me, cuz!"

Dr. Shrunk's "I Can't Believe it's Not Comedy" Bonanza!

"Oh uh, I didn't really get much of a spotlight today... darn Redd stole the show."

"But I'm sure I'll grow on ya after this next joke..."

"Let's see... we're talking about luck?"

"Alright, perfect! Here's my joke for ya!"

"You know, I often say I'm the luckiest... whatever I am... in the world."

"I may not have good looks, promising career prospects, any useful trades, good health, wealth... uh... umm..."

"Anyways, I don't have all of that, BUT I do have a loving wife that's always there to support me and laugh at my jokes."

"Of course, she also laughs at the jokes of the wealthy and handsome accountant down the street..."

"... Maybe we shouldn't visit him anymore..."

Day 9

*ding dong*

"Alright everyone, breakfast is in the plaza as always, and main street is open. I suggest ya make this a very busy day."

Lucky is let out of the Dream Salon, meanwhile, Punchy and Joe were forced out of main street last night by Digby and Redd respectively.

Shrunk is an Axolotl~
Punchy arrives at the plaza with something tucked under his arm.

Lucky steps out of the dream salon, his eyes squinting in the Sun. "Well that's probably the first night since I've been here that I've slept well.

That's the joke, most people don't know, so it's fun to treat him as the weird enigma of the game.



"Mmm... please return any time. I'd like to show you places from your wildest imagination."

Just a note, this day will probably last 3-4 days depending on what happens. I'd like to give you guys plenty of time to discuss things if you have anything to discuss~
