I hate both gel and powder deodorant, but I still wear either one. The gel kind causes my skin to break out sometimes and it burns (happens maybe twice a month), and the powder kind is basically how Exeres described it.

liquid gel and I let it dry before putting on a shirt. No stain problems. I don't sweat much in my pits anyway.

I accidentally poured syrup on my puppy today. Unsurprisingly, she gave exactly zero shits.

Edit: Yes, I did clean her up.

So I never fully thought about it until now, and also if it's not obvious I don't know where I should actually post this, but...
Is anyone else really bothered by jokes making fun of weeabootaku by making up an anime title via saying a bunch of random syllables in an accent? Because aside from being a weird way of making fun of a person (how silly of them that anime have titles???), that and other "jokes" of speaking mock-Japanese by saying a long string of random syllables (almost always preceded with "OOOOOOOOH") don't seem that far off from going "ching chong ting tong ling long".

I have actually never heard such jokes. I would assume they are made by the same small percentage of immature children who make the "ching chong" jokes.

Its not so much that the anime has a title, as it seemingly crams random English words together which probably make sense in the original japanese, but just comes out as gibberish to everyone else

I have no problem for people of "alternative lifestyles" (LGBT folks), but for some reason, cross dressers (more specifically, drag queens) scare the shit out of me. Dunno why, exactly, because they aren't hurting anyone, or whatever.

I'm bothered by the fact that they scare me.

What do you mean? I just meant that I don't hate anyone who'd be considered LGBT, but I'm scared of cross dressers. I don't hate them, but I just feel real nervous when a cross dresser (transvestite, right?) is nearby. I also said I don't know why I feel that way, and that they aren't causing harm.

And I also pointed out that I don't like that they scare me, as in, I shouldn't feel that way.

Is it that they are considered LGBT? I thought the T meant transsexual or transgender. To me, cross dressing isn't a sexual thing. There are straight men who do that.

It's probably that I'm concerned that I'd react poorly upon learning that the girl I was checking out is actually a guy. Not disgusted, just disappointed they aren't female (wow, that can sound really, really bad).

Let's see, what's a safe way to word this...

Okay, I haven't once felt attracted to another male, but I have no ill will towards gay people. I'm not disgusted by what they do. I've seen a few pictures involving gay sexual activity, and I just felt indifferent. Might as well have been a picture of a tree. The vast majority of lesbian porn that I've seen got the same reaction.

Same goes for transsexuals and porn involving them.

It's just when a male wears a skirt that just barely keeps him from getting arrested for indecent exposure (someone came to the store dressed that way) that makes me shiver. Although, he didn't even seem to try to pass, either. No make-up, no falsies, just a guy in his mid forties (at least) with a skirt short enough that his wrists would have passed the hem of it at the sides. Not someone who can pull it off like the people on Drag Race.

Though now that I think of it, it might have been also been done for comedic purposes. That's actually funny.

What I don't understand is why I can go out in jeans and a jacket I bodaciously bought from the men's section and a camo baseball cap and nobody gives a shit, but the instant a guy puts on a skirt or tries a bit of make-up suddenly WOAHHOHEY CROSS-DRESSING, IS THIS GUY GAY??

Why is it such a bad thing for guys to wear "traditionally """feminine"""" clothes? Why are clothes even gendered to begin with :psyduck:

Because to many of the people that it bothers: when a woman wears men's clothes, it's for practicality, which old people are okay with as a means to an end. When a man wears women's clothes, it's to express some frivolous thing that is not a part of the masculine identity, so he's being weird.

With trousers specifically, they were originally not only just for men, but for men of authority (I count old school leggings for this). You know the phrase "wearing the pants in the relationship"? When a woman wears trousers, it's because she is being practical, functional, trying to level up her authority to be closer to the top. When a male wears a skirt, it's sometimes seen as lowering themselves, which boggles the old peoples' minds, even if they aren't fully aware that that's the reason.

Obviously, this line of thinking isn't true for everyone, but it's the one that I"ve observed most frequently.

I sometimes forget that not everyone believe in evolution, so I'll end up saying something about it offhandedly to someone and they'll get offended.

That makes me angry as hell, you might as well say you dont belive in gravity or continental drift. Its not a matter of belief, its scientific facts. Just because you dont like what the evidence says doesnt make it go away

It doesn't really make me mad when they say they don't believe in it. It does kinda subconsciously make me think they're a little less smart for it though.

What does make me mad is when they're misinformed on what the theory of evolution is and say stuff like "I didn't come from no daisies monkey" even though that's not even what evolution states.

Ah yes, the old "Then why are there still monkeys" logic. Its just... its not that hard a concept to grasp! I sucked at biology AND science in school and even I'm capable of understanding the basics of evolution.
