AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I've been wishing that for years now. I'd love to help her but she just doesn't want any help. I offered to help her study to get her GED but she never asked me to. And everyone in my family has told her she needs to seek help for her drug problems and stuff and leave her boyfriend (he's the source of most of her problems) but she won't. And she's too lazy to even keep a job. She's had three jobs in the past 2 years and she got fired from two within a week and quit the third one after just 3 days. She's my sister and I do love her, but at this point it's just hard to hope she will get better and just easier to think that something bad may happen to her.

I get stupidly drunk at least once a week most of the time.

A light buzz is all I've had, yeah. I personally never saw the appeal, I'd rather save my cheddar and health.

Never even had anything except a reluctant sip of wine twice a year to make my parents stop pestering me about the need to have alcohol because otherwise it's not Christmas.

I didn't play the drinking game at that party this summer (but I gave advice to the guy sitting next to me about how to make his rules more cruel for everyone else) and I think I didn't quite get it. Presumably they were playing because they wanted to drink, but then the goal of the game was not to drink and they always tried to weasel out, so... why were they playing that game and not just a card game or something in the first place?

Never been drunk either, I had 3 drinks last week at a party I went to but even then they were spaced out over a few hours, so I was barely buzzed. I mean I kinda wonder how much it would take for me to get drunk (probably not a lot) but I just don't feel the need to drink that much, really.

I love drinking, but I almost never go beyond beer. Partly because I find beer the most satisfying sort of beverage, but also because I know if I start drinking strong liquor, I'm never coming back from there. The pleasant sensation of dulling yourself to the horrors and misery of the world is an enjoyable one, but you have to guard yourself so you dont get addicted to it.

i used to never drink; i think last year i had maybe like 5 bottles of wine in total and i got actually drunk once


this year it feels like i'm drunk every weekend, sometimes during the week too. i'm not sure how i feel about it. on one hand, i'm much happier than i was last year, so i'm not drinking to numb the pain, i'm drinking to have fun, but on the other hand wow i drink a lot

If I could avoid sobriety, I would.

The idea behind those games is that while drinking is fun, watching someone else get too drunk is hilarious.

I sometimes have feelings that I can't describe. They feel negative, but I don't know in what way, and the more I think about them, the worse I feel without getting any closer to figure them out.
