Apparently, if I'm detailing a vehicle, and one of the other guys is sitting down for a smoke break, I'm the one who has to drop everything and clean a vehicle that has just been sold. Because smoke breaks are super important.

I fucking hate smokers. They deserve the cancer they're likely to get.

Plain and overcooked dinner because I'm too practically incompetent to comprehend my can opener.

I accidentally stabbed my hand with a flat head screwdriver a couple days ago. Nothing major, but the small rip in the skin of my right palm is now itchy and sore.

That anyone can start uploading to YouTube whatever is appropriate and all that, but I need a certain graphics card or whatever to record videos on my giant laptop.

So close and yet so far...

I've been getting a ton of those phone calls where some unknown number calls, says nothing, and then hangs up. Not good when I'm waiting to hear back from interviews and the like.

Fucking robots tryna scam me or some shit.

Another night with no sleep, and I have work today. I'm worried I'd be running the risk of hitting other cars or something. Problem is, I don't feel tired enough to do more than just lie down. Not tired enough to fall asleep.

When you get a night with no sleep, don't worry so bad about falling asleep the next night. Just don't fall asleep during the day. What happens is that your body won't want to sleep when you need to. It needs 8-10 hours. To fix your sleep problem, stay awake during the day, and fall asleep 8-10 hours before you want to wake up in the morning. Helps me out.

I just don't choose to listen to my own advice.

Yeah, apparently dehydration makes sleep difficult. I'd been drinking more fluids (as opposed to solids... That shit hurts going down), but it isn't easy when the heat in this area is 96°F with high humidity. Heat index says it would feel like 116°F out here.

I really want all this wedding ordeal to be over. I just want to skip to dinner after the reception.

Several people seem to always assume I actually want to talk about something when I say I don't want to talk about something.

I don't want to talk when I say I don't want to talk.

Acid reflux, especially when I'm trying to sleep, makes me wish someone had invented it, so that I could find them and remove every hair on their body with a pair of tweezers while hard-core polka plays in the background. (There's one group, but I can't remember the spelling. They have a great song called "pop flyin' Little Boozer")

(Edit: Korpiklaani)

Had a little party/meeting at work last night and part of the schedule was talking about the Taco Bell Foundation, our scholarship program.

Unfortunately the opening of this conversation about it started with my manager showing us an image of three kids, one studying, one playing football, and one getting a tattoo, and asking us who we would give a scholarship to.

I bodaciously said that I'd like to hear more about each kid to get some context before passing judgement.

Good call. People from all walks of life get tattoos, and that's kind of fucked up that they would imply someone with a tattoo shouldn't get a scholarship on that basis.

Or that ink means you won't study, or try to succeed, or whatever.

As for something that annoys me... Why does daisies near every restaurant chain puts mayonnaise on every sandwich/burger? It tastes awful.
