Wiffle, how old are you, like 18? 19? You're so incredibly young, and to think that because one relationship that you put a lot of effort and love and hard work into failed, they all will is, quite frankly, silly. You're going to find someone, hell, you're going to find A LOT of people who you'll love and A LOT of people who'll love you back. Nobody ever falls in love once, because that's just not the way people work.

So cheer up, man. You'll eventually end up with someone you'll want to spend your entire life with.

The problem is no one wants a person like me. :/ No one was ever interested in me before him, and no one will be after.

There are over 7 billion people on the planet.

There's someone. Thinking there isn't will only stop you from looking. It serves no purpose other than making you feel bad for yourself.

My numbers are not in the billions. I'm only willing do date people in my own area from now on, long distance is just...no. And guys aren't into guys like me.

If there was one who wanted to date you, chances are there will be another.

I dunno, just being on a boat and enjoying the ride ain't so bad.

Perhaps the fisherman that doesn't cast his rod goes hungry? Or the obvious one... 'doesn't catch a fish'. Which ties in very well to the old aphorism.

Anyway. Cheer up, son.

Just to put a little math in here:

It's estimated that between 2 and 10% of the population is at least interested in a homosexual relationship or experience, that would estimate to about 140.000.000 to 700.000.000 people out there who are not heterosexual.

It would be grossly generalizing but let's say half of these are interested in men, so that would be 70.000.000 to 350.000.000 interested.

Even if only 1 in a 1.000.000 is interested in you specifically, that still leaves 70 to 350 men out there who'd want to be with you. And I am very sure that more than 1 in a million people are willing to say you're a pretty cool guy to make out with.

Don't give up for silly reasons dude, there's no reason to.

Looking through my facebook, I came across all the old photos of me and my ex girlfriend.
the pain in my heart right now id just indescribable. I really really liked her. and she dumped me for no good reason. I dont know why I still have those old photos.
But It really upsets me to think we spend so long together, and pop flyin' and for her to just cast me aside.

Uhhh, A Fisherman who doesn't cast his rod is but a man on a boat, which in itself isn't half bad, but he shouldn't complain about not going home with any fish?

That's a bit long for a morale.

I'm not saying I am in any position to turn anyone away, right now I'll take just about any guy here. In my city I mean.

That's actually the last thing you want to do.

Getting in a relationship for the sake of a relationship never turns out okay. I've done it before, and I ended up breaking all contact with her when all was said and done.

In my position it's kinda that or nothing. For a lot of reasons.

I suppose. I mean I understand that you can't be picky, but don't just throw yourself at the first guy who comes your way, you know?

I'm not awfully picky. I mean it'd be nice if they look good, and have a nice personality, and have their lives together. But I can't really write off someone who'd actually want to be with me at this point. Not that anyone does, at the moment.

My favorite professor just lost his fight with cancer. I know everyone who knew him is going to be devastated, he was a great man.
