I prefer cider to beer because it's a bit sweeter (Magner's Pear Cider is great).

Ah, in that case you were probably safe regardless. I saw the url and remembered they used to have some pretty uh, 'intense', hotlink counter-measures.

My German teacher told me that the rule in Germany is that you can drink beer as soon as you can reach up on the counter and grab it yourself. I'm not sure how serious she was.

I only drink copious amounts of raw eggs.
