Except having a certain hylian lineage doesn't matter, because being hylian is still being human.
Hylian is a race of humans, not a separate species that are just close to human. So regardless of how pure hylian they are, they're still human.

Not to mention that the Skyward Sword Link was bodaciously one of the first hylians. If he was considered human, then OoT Link is sure as hell human, especially seeing as they're the same soul constantly reincarnated.

A soul being reincarnated (which isn't even canon but speculation) does not make the species of the individual. Besides which, this throws a wrench into that theory when the literal soul of OoT Link talked to TP Link. Can't talk to yourself, man.

The humans of skyloft were called humans and skyloftians. The term hylian, and the traits common to hylians, did not start in the canon until after the establishment of Hyrule, and given how much species change in the Zelda canon (Zora to Rito, and Kokiri to Korok), Hylians are just as likely to have become their own "race" seperate from humans and then later died out (see the Gerudo).

Do just a little bit of research on the subject. It's pretty factual and understood that hylians are just a race of humans. Not a different species.

Also the skyloftians are hylians, but before hyrule came about and the name of the race was changed to reflect that.

Let's just agree that Zelda is not a series that likes to be clear on a lot of things, and that enjoys contradicting itself (there are humans with pointy ears that are not hylians in some games, and in others, it's the sole/main indicator of hylians, and in some games, there are even hylians depicted as normal humans, but distinct from them). I've played every Zelda game and all of them seem to have a different take on Hylians.

OoT itself classifies both humans and Hylians as terms for groups of people, with Link being one of the last of the latter.

Whether it's an arbitrary distinction or an actual difference is up to Oolrich.

i say keep the bonus round. You've given us pretty simple rules so far and the bonus one is a nice monkey wrench in the works.

bonus rounds are fun. It gives a chance to be needlessly obtrusive without screwing people up for the rest of the game.

Do remakes count towards the amount of Game appearances?

Remakes do not, as they are the same game, neither will cross platform ports of the same game count. Must be completely different

Very well then, I shall use Mima from Touhous 1, 2, 3, and 5! (Touhou 13.5 is a spinoff, and the series had a reboot at game 6.)

She uses her magic to shoot lasers at you, not guns.
She has green hair, and is playable in Touhous 3 and 5.
In Touhou 2, she has several henchmen and an apprentice named Marisa Kirasame looking to make the shrine maiden's day a helluva lot worse.
She also has a hat!

For future reference, I'd like the allies to appear in the same game(s) the character is playable in
And I'm still going to count Touhou 1-5 as part of the main series along with 6-13, with the fighting games as their own spinoff series

Cammy from Super Street Fighter II. She has allies in Delta Red, a squad who takes her in when she looses her memory. Delta Red is comprised of Colonel Keith Wolfman, Matthew McCoy, Lita Luwanda, and George Ginzu.

Sakura Kasugano as she appears in Capcom Vs. SNK
Sakura appears in both CvS games, the alpha series, and all the iterations of Street Fighter 4. In Capcom Vs. SNK you make a team of up to 3 characters out of the entire cast, so really, everyone in the game can be her ally. she wears a white headband and throws fireballs, no guns. As for green, some of her alternate colors in the game have her dressing up in green.

wait do alternate outfits count as wearing green?

because if so a lot more options have opened up to me

She appears in game in green. I've played characters like this before and people were cool with it.
