AWKWARD ZOMBIE

I was super sick during the week Christmas fell on (to where I was bedridden for around 3 days) and I'm still exhausted from getting over it.

It doesn't help that I've been screaming in my sleep a lot.

Again.

Pretty certain that I screwed up my interview today. I mentioned that I was planning to go back to school part-time in the Fall, and the person doing the interview said they were looking for someone long term. I told her the program I was looking at is online and that I can balance school and work, but I'm pretty sure the damage is done. I just have to wait and see I guess.

Get invited into a group for this game. Old group was dead so I take it. Not a day after I do I'm called out in front of the group for doing something that the group was created to do because they'd decided to change but were super wishy-washy talking about it and it seemed like a personal thing.

I am way too annoyed with this but I am.

Also rewriting a boring essay really emphasizes how boring it is.

Someone posted a recipe on bookface that's more or less two sticks of butter and sugar, and I'm starting to question our friendship.

Not until you cook it a specific way. Also, caramel usually has whole dairy (cream/milk) in there as well.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I motherfucking love butter (as my waistline and hips can attest), but holy shit that is no. Like, put it on something, sure. But ewwwwwwwwww.



And just melting butter and then dissolving the sugar into it can technically be a kind of lazy caramel, but it's more pre-brittle than actual caramel.

The dreaded world of popular, low-end mobile online games always seems to have 40% of male players that notice me sending wordless friend requests, 10% trying to start conversations on subjects I wish to avoid, and 6% being absolutely unashamed in their vulgar behaviors exhibited when they start said unwanted conversations.


One reason I most long for a PC is it is easier to avoid immature people when playing games that have a technological entry barrier that people in their early-to-mid teens cannot overcome. The vast majority of them are stuck on consoles, and console games generally lack multiplatform multiplayer.

My amazon packages should arrive earlier than expected. The problem is I won't be able to do anything with them until after they were scheduled to arrive anyways. I guess it's not a problem but there'll be cool stuff and I won't be able to do cool things with it.
