Oh dear god my post is long and unfunny but I wanted to let that out.

So, last Saturday I noticed that Psychonauts was on steam. I heard lots of good things about it, and it seemed like just the kind of game I would love, so I figured "What could possibly go wrong?" and downloaded the demo.

Four days later I still can't get the daisies thing to work! Every time I try starting the demo I get the error message "The Most Excellent Game Psychonauts has stopped working, Windows is looking for a solution to this problem, blah blah". I have tried redownloading it from different sources and changing the compatibility options and other stuff like that and the thing still refuses to work.

Should I keep trying to get the thing to work or just order the PS2 version from Amazon or something?

In retrospect maybe I should have put this in the "game help" thing or even given it its own topic but oh well, too late now.

So there was a home show in my town this weekend. Of course, there's always a ShamWow-type thing there... this one was called the Miracle Shammy, but it was the exact same thing. Apparently there's some sort of criteria to be able to sell these thing, because the guy there looked like a clone of Vince Shlomi. Faux hawk, headset mic... dunno if he had the accent, but you know what he said to us? "Sham-a-lama-ding-dong!" It was ridiculous.

This forum sure does have a lot of moderators who don't do anything. Except Spoony. He's awesome, and super sexy.
