I've always felt more comfortable playing as the male trainers - goes for most games where you can pick to be a boy or a girl, honestly. Or if there's an option to be neither and be some neutral option, I'll just go for that. It's weird because I'm fine with being a girl and being referred to as "she" and everything, but at the same time there's just something about the idea of something that's supposed to represent me being "feminine" that makes me majorly and weirdly uncomfortable. Probably the same thing that makes me like to wear baggy shirts and hoodies because they make my chest look flat, even though I'm already flat as hell.

I normally play as a dude character as well. Now that I think about it though, I don't know exactly why. I don't find myself particularly girly, but I guess I may feel more masculine than the average female? To be honest, when it comes to things like gender identity and sexuality, I don't really dwell or think about it too much. I just am I guess. I don't really mind who I am, how I'm born, or what I became when it comes to those things. When I do think about it, I don't really feel confused or conflicted, more just curious if anything.

I mean, I'm fine as a girl even if I feel more dude-ish except for periods everyone hates those, but I don't think I'd mind being a dude either. I also don't really feel neutral though, which is odd. When it comes to sexuality, I'm not sure who or what I'm interested in if I'm interested in anything at all. I don't have an active interest in sex like a lot people. I'm not sure if it's because I'm still kinda immature or if that's how I am. I think it's kinda grody. As for relationships, I still think having one would be nice, but I still don't think I'd be able to accept anyone. Maybe I'm just not ready for the change that comes with a relationship? Maybe I haven't found a compatible partner?

The answer'll probably come as I get older.

I also have no idea how this answers why I play the dude character.

I've always called myself bi, but I may be pan. I never knew about pansexuality when I first identified as bi so now I think I've just grown attached to being labeled as bisexual.
Basically, I don't care what someone is packing so long as I think they're hot.

Good lord, we might as well change the thread title to Everyone Is Pan.

You all are making me feel bad for not liking dicks.

But not actually because that's stupid and I proudly don't like dicks.

Texted my transmale friend and updated him on my situation. He's super cool and supportive and thinks Katelyn is a lovely name. ^_^ Everyone should have a transmale friend because they are pretty much the best.

I've got a gay male friend, is that close enough? Also, is it weird that I'm straight, but still enjoy reading this thread?

Marcato: "Hi, how are you? You ordered the [insert order here]?"

Customer: "Yes, ma'am."

Marcato: *Probably blushing bright red* *Dying of happiness inside* *Maybe died for real*

Customer: "Oh, sorry, sir!"

Marcato: "NO THAT'S OK, IT'S REALLY OK."

I was so worried no one else would have gotten the joke.

Also, as for Marcato's "mishap" with the customer, that reminds me of another story I'd heard. The creator of the web comic Altermeta was going through her transition, and apparently people she worked with thouht she was ftm instead of mtf.
