There's certainly some grey/gray area where some should go, but it wouldn't hurt to have the Art thread be in the fifth forum. It's a very educational topic. I'd keep the Art Request thread where it is. We could always have more than one writing thread. A fiction thread could go in Media or General for when we write for ourselves/entertainment. We could have a workshop thread for papers in the Educational thread. It would also be a good place to put various culinary threads. Essentially a forum where we put stuff that needs worked on away from memes, in-jokes, and emotional breakdowns. Possible threads:

Science News-hey did you hear about that robot that can dougie?
Questions-What/When/Why/How/Who?
Engineering-guys check this robot I just built out of paperclips
Math-Collectively we might form one functional mathematician
Chemistry-technically my major
Biology-lot of animal lovers in the forum
Software Talk-how does internet pipes am work?
General Homework/Study Buddies-We have this one already.

Depending on popularity we might eventually just have a thread for robots and specific software types. We might have enough herpes for a herpetology thread, who knows?

Watch those threads get filled with pictures of animals wearing glasses.

Joking aside I kinda like that idea. A sub forum for higher learning and self betterment that is.

Idk, the science related threads move pretty daisies slowly, so I don't know if a sub-forum would see much use. On the other hand, this way those threads wouldn't fall off the frontpage.

I like history. If that could have a thread, I'd support a new sub-forum

I know I would post a lot more about science if it wasn't going to get lost amidst various other discussions. I remember asking a question at some point on electrical engineering and never got a response because the next post after that started one of those three page joke quote fests. I can't remember if it was Anchorman quotes or Homestuck references, but the point remains.

science subforum is unlikely as those threads aren't terrible popular? i mean, post in them more and make more science-related threads and i guess it could happen but probably not
